5-10? I can't see him losing.
Not that high for me. I cannot rate a guy who I could midget toss on the weekend that highly. Sure he might be skilled for being a little people and I am positive he could build toys in the North Pole without issue, but I have to draw a line here. ;)
I already had him #3 p4p. Payano was a spectacular win v a solid foe, but He stays at 3.
I think y'all aren't giving him credit. No, he hasn't beaten an elite fighter (Neither did GGG, and many of y'all had him top 3). But he's beaten a bunch of solid dudes (Taguchi, Hernandez, Kono, McDonnell, Payano) across 3 divisions).
I don't know if the WBSS can get him over Lomachenko, but it can move him over Bud if he doesn't do anything. Assuming Usyk, Spence, Mikey, Canelo don't do anything great, I can see Monster at #2 if he runs through a dude like Tête.
This dude is a SUPERSTAR, it's just that us westerners don't know it.
I hate goofy, mythical "lb for lb" ****, maybe my least favorite thing about boxing. But I couldn't help but think watching him fight that there is nobody in the sport further ahead of the other guys in his division than Inoue. It's like the Grand Canyon, Rodriguez can maybe be competitive for a while, maybe. All those other guys, including Burnett and Tete will be eaten alive by Inoue and made to look like bums. Inoue may be the best in the sport
if you're asking for personal opinion, the argument is endless
based on the PFP for RING MAG or ESPN
he should be above usyk, spence, arguably above garcia
BUT that depends on how inoue wins
garcia has been soundly beating opponents by dec, but if inoue obliterates everyone a la tyson
then he's gonna get even more credit
