I don’t know a lot on that list but I’ll take your word for it . So you have a leg to stand on now. Get ready for the backlash from others
Don't know WTF this^ dim mutherfuker is ranting about this time but I've had enough of his moronic posts and I don't need to be shout tagged by this raging inbred. Time to visit the ignore list.
Yeah he's an incoherent moron who's full of hate. Best just to add him to ignore list.
I put a few trolls in there . Can't deny the rest though. And I can still add more names ahead of the bum beater hype job.
Meh. Myself I think Golovkin will end up somewhere in the bottom end of the top 20 or just outside when the dust settles, but I'll leave that to the historians of the future. Folk lack a proper perspective until years after a fighter retires. Simple fact is that the vast majority of fighters on most guys records are of the same sort of calibre as the 'bums' (sic) that Golovkin has fought, but most ATGs also have at least one exceptional fighter on there too. Golovkin lacks a signature win (at least officially), but on the flip side has longevity and consistency - which do actually matter in my book because even fighters who aren't really atgs at all can land a great win on a good night (or an opponents off night) or due to a fortunate styles match up - like Pavlik or Taylor - neither of whom I consider great MWs (and in fact both very deeply flawed) despite each having better single wins than GGG.
I like Triple G and I think he is a very entertaining fighter. He is in decline and that's obvious when you see his legs are not getting him where he needs to be. The legs begin to fade on ALL fighters and that limits their offensive outage and also their ability to absorb punishment.
I like Triple G in the top thirty maybe even top twenty-five.
I evaluate him by his performances featuring power, style and willingness. It would be great to fight ATG fighters but if you know what your looking at you can get an idea of how he would fare against men from the past.
People still cry babying about the Canelo vs GGG fight....christ sakes just enjoy a good competitive fight and move on.
Ray
That's the most level headed response to a GGG thread from you since the re-match.
Well done Ray.
You actually arent biased 100% of the time towards Gennady.

Oscar? An atg MW? He fought there twice and in the eyes of the world lost 'em both. His 'big' MW win (according to their judges) was Felix fkn Sturm ffs - the guy who lost to Danny Geale. Trinidad? Jones - who did almost nothing at MW except beat a very green Hopkins.... look these are all great (and probably ATG) fighters, but not greats at Middleweight, which is what the thread is about.
Only in GennadyCUCK Land can "fans" say every other fighter "ducked" their guy (weird possessive homoerotic stuff honestly).
Meanwhile "their" guy only fought at 160. He demanded/required WW's and JMW's fight him at 160 or there was no fight...and those guys were ducking. Canelo and Cotto were accused of ducking for years...hell both of those guys (and Brook) offered to fight @ CW of 155-157...and GennadyCUCKS say "requesting/requiring 157 is MW...so it's a DUCK to not fight at 160".
If 155-160 is MW (like GennadyCUCKS suggest) than why couldn't GennadyCUCK take on real challenges in Cotto and Canelo? Oh, I know why:
https://i.redd.it/eraftf6jz0n11.png
So while I envy Gennady on taking a stance against something in boxing which is bigger than himself, CW's. I cannot respect his complete hypocrisy:
- Refuses any/all CW for smaller fighters (Canelo, Cotto, Brook, etc.)
- Requires CW for *some* (Andre Ward, cough) bigger fighters...even though he was willing to fight Froch and JCC Jr. at 168
- Requires opponents to wear gloves of his choosing
- Requires opponents to let Abel wrap their hands
- Requires selection of judges...only to blame THEIR SELECTED JUDGES (hi Dave Moretti) after the fight doesn't go "their way"...even though Canelo did exactly what Abel asked of him
- Requires opponents to not use Mexican "meat" in fights...and Canelo's meat is hhhhhhuuuuuuuugggggeeeeee

You list has me rolling and embarrassed for you. You can't really be serious. You can make a H2H matchup argument but not an all time ranking argument. here's why:
1) Jones had two MW title fight wins at 160!
2) Dick Tiger was 6-3 in title fights. Not even close in this discussion.
3) Marcel Cerdan lost his only title fight to Lamotta who already had over a dozen losses and was pretty much garbage at the time by tko.
4) Lamotta is a name only but he was a career loser basically. Just because he beat SRR in a non title fight once doesn't just make him an atg when he had lost several fights before and after that to way lesser fighters. He literally made a name off losing to SRR 5 times and never won a world title.
5) Emille Griffith was 4-4 in title fights. Please, you can't be serious.
6) Randy Turpin - ???? Who the F is this? After looking at his record, he never won a single world title fight at 160 and never fought a known fighter outside of England. This is ridiculous. It really is.
7) Ray Leonard? Really? He has one win at 160! Haggler and that win was disputed. He got knocked out in his other fight at 160. To say he is even in this discussion is idiotic. He was a WW fighter! Just stop!
8) Sumbu Kalambay - ??? He was 4-3 in mw title fights. How can you even say he's in this discussion?
9) James Toney was 7-0-1 at MW in title fights. While he had some good wins at the weight, how can he possibly be considered having a better resume than GGG? He didn't even unify at the weight.
10) Sergio Martinez - I want to give him credit but lets be real. He beat basically nobody other than Kelly Pavlik and had a very short run. He's not even the best since the year 2007.
11) Kelly Pavlik? You realize that he just beat Jermain Taylor right? He literally had no other decent MW wins out of his 5 fight reign, then got undressed by Martinez. It's laughable to say he's better than GGG.
12) Stanley Ketchell ? Lol! You only know him for getting knocked out twitching by a way bigger HW Jack Johnson who was just toying with him until he got pissed off. Don't even try it.
13) Gerald McClellan had a lot of potential but he just didn't have a long enough reign at MW before his tragic accident. A 4-1 title record just doesn't cut it. You might as well have Billy Joe Saunders in here in that case lol.
14) Terry Downes - ? Pfffffff! You're joking. He had one title fight at LHW at home and was ktfo. Gtfoh
15) Rocky Graziano - Lol! You're just mentioning him because he's a name you know. I bet you have no idea that he lost 2 out of his only 3 title fights all to the same guy! How ridiculous to put him in here.
If you want to say that that ATG SRR had a better MW resume I'd ask how you decided that since he was 1-2-1 in title fights at MW. Greb was a name but honestly, there were a bunch of club figters back 100 years ago and there's no way to really know if he was winning legit title fights or not. Monzon has a legitimate claim that he had a better MW career at 15-0 and retiring undefeated in title fights....but...aside from Emille Griffith, he really wasn't fighting world beaters. Haggler goes without saying and I do agree that he may have a better MW record but remember, he lost to SRL who was naturally a lot smaller in arguably his biggest fight. If you want to somehow make out that Hopkins had a better run at MW, there's a decent argument for it so I'll leave that up to the experts.
So as you see, that list is total crap and made up just to belittle GGG and his 20-1-1 title fight reign. (should be 22-0)
This was a total fail in trying to dispute GGG's historical MW standing. It's laughable in fact.
He is def in the top 20. Most of boxing had him beating Canelo twice out of his prime. He is still an undefeated fighter in most people's eyes despite all the haters on a boxing forum.

It would be easy to find fighters better than him if you aren't blinded by GGG nuthugging goggles. He beat nobody. Roy Jones **** on GGG's middleweight career with 1 win. Many others actually fought and beat better fighters than Jacobs or drawing and losing to Canelo.
Truly spoken like an oblivious moron. Jones isn't even ranked all time at MW because he was there for so short of a time. Stop being an idiot.

Lol you have no idea what an idiot you are I sense
Hes alright, its kind of hard to put him in top 20 MW all time, because his first 2 competitive opponents made him look incredibly average compared to the hype surrounding him.
People were making statements like he was going to be the best MW of all time, but in his first real challenge he failed to make a convincing performance.
I like Canelo, but he's not that great either. He would get a one-sided ass kicking by the top 10 MWs of all time. And GGG failed to get a convincing win against him. Robbery or not, Canelo and him are the same level and they're both not good enough for this kind of recognition.
Canelo might still get into that top 20 if he gets some solid wins against the top guys in the division. His luck is that he started early and he is now the same age as GGG when he turned pro. That gives him time to build up his resume some more, but it also means he still has time to fail and crash his legacy.
Either way, if you put GGG in the top 20...barely, I could maybe understand but if you put him in the top 15 you are a fanboy that fell for the hype.
can anybody here really make a top 20 MW list all time? without google... this division goes back 100 years.
I'd bet half the people on this site couldn't name 20 middleweights in general, let alone a top 20 lol
Ggg is best of his era. His resume may not be the best. But he was avoided and he still arguably or inarguably depending which side of fence you sit beat Nell twice out of prime
