Buys don't mean anything when comparing US vs UK numbers (or in general really, but its hard to find revenue figures). UK PPV's are cheaper. Don't recall the price of those US PPV's, but I'm sure they were 2x+ more than Joshua's PPV is & they were among the worst opponents by both guys. This is Joshua's 2nd best opponent.
My point is we dont even know Joshua's low PPV point at the moment. Theres no buzz here yet hes projected to break PPV records 1.3 mil+. What does he do when there is buzz, in just this one market? Dont think youd be pushing it saying Joshua vs Wilder or Fury goes over 2 million now.
We know Mayweathers lowest recently was 600,000 up to 5-6,000,000
Canelo 300,000 up to 2,400,000
The pull on Joshua with no buzz shows the tracejtory hes on
Darts is a beloved sport in your country. I've seen those tournaments, they're huge over there. Shameful.
Darts are usually held in small arenas and are seen as a great night out for lots of drinking etc. it is by no means one of the major sports here, football (soccer) is miles ahead in that regards. We do have a lot of different sports, even some like snooker and darts which won't be seen as much over in the states. Boxing isn't really one of our biggest sports either. It obviously Joshua has been transforming it in recent years, as has matchroom boxing in general to be honest.
Lol what do u mean there's nothing to do, as if London is some backwards place out in the sticks. Its considered one of the most cosmopolitan and exciting (albeit that's why it's so expensive) cities in the world
Are there major casinos in London for gambling?
no they wouldnt
if they could they they obviously would
also lol @ there being nothing to do in the uk but darts and boxing lmao u must be a philistine if thats all u can find

But the well informed posters on here were saying that people had lost interest in Joshua And that they can't sell tickets?
Bottom line dude, means Joshua hasnt even reached his peak in the "small" UK market
Lowest
Joshua vs Povetkin = 1.3million +
Canelo vs Smith = 300,000
Mayweather vs Berto = 600,000
