I don't think there is any comparison. GGG is much better and has a much better record. GGG was an undefeated champion with 20 successful title defenses and a streak of 23 KOs in a row before he lost to Canelo. He has never been knocked down or been in danger of being knocked down. Martinez has a number of loses on his record and has been knocked down many times and knocked out by Cotto and Margarito. Martinez could has defended his title against GGG but he refused to fight him. GGG wanted to fight him but you can make a guy fight who doesn't want to fight you.Murray fought Martinez in Argentina for Martinez's middleweight world title and knocked him down and lost a close fight most thought he deserved to win.
