Fellow Boxers and Professionals are ALL saying GGG WON!! Disgrace decision!

There's a lot of boxers and fans (and everyone in between) who also have the support for GGG winning the fight. In fact there's a lot more I believe. Point being, judging fights is subjective and to be objective about it we need to have the points system in place. Points-wise, GGG won clearly.

Stephen A smith also had it for GGG and the great legend Lennox Lewis also had it for GGG Two more names that had it for ggg Exactly. This is not to take away anything from Canelo. I saw him with a beautiful fight in his hands and did a lot BUT GGG dominated him in points. If we want to get rid of the points-system then we should rid of all judges and let them fight with no limits of rounds until someone goes down definitely. At the least 15 rounds of boxing like the old way is better but for 12 rounds, then the point system must taken more considerably. There's a lot of nuances in this fight, poetry even. Canelo with beautiful slips under GGG's punches and countering with big shots but GGG was the aggressor, threw and landed more punches and then some. Like Lederman's card, GGG by 7 rounds.

Wow. Thought Canelo won clearly. Moved forward, threw more power punches. I thought GGG won the first fight. Clearly bias too much of an influence in judging fights. Take away the judges. Win only by ko or if someone quits.

Close fight but thought Golovkin won.

Holy crap, Teddy Atlas is off his rocker. He had it 117-111 GGG.

Canelo won the damn fight....GGG boxing like an idiot getting walked down by the smaller man. After talking all that **** he's in there trying to fight like Mayweather LOL!

Golovkins face saw it. I thought Canelo fought great. It was a war. Just saw him losing. In the I think most most people did too but we will see as the videos and articles come out. It was a great fight just thought the wrong guy won.

Canelos power punches were harder. Canelo landed the harder shots throughout the majority of the rounds. Disagree. I thought Golovkin landed more clean shots in this fight. He hit canelo with more clean shots in this fight.

Caleb Truax Adam Booth Badou Jack Josh Kelly All had Canelo Yarde had it a draw. Most people had it either way.

I'm not talking about actually points more weight. :lol1: 2 clean power punches are worth more in scoring criteria than 3 jabs. A jab that lands flush and snaps a guys head back is with more than a power shot that partially lands in my book. I’ve been consistent on that.

Even Teddy Atlas is saying it was a robbery, a guy who picked Canelo.

Ggg walks down canelo in 1st. fight= draw Canelo walks down ggg in rematch= win for canelo. Corruption wins the day again and Ggg gets screwed. Not once but twice.

That's the most important criteria when scoring a round. Canelo bested him in most rounds. A power punch outweighs a jab when scoring. That isn’t necessarily true. Depends on the jab. Golovkin throws powerful jabs that snapped Canelo’s head back consistently. I don’t hate on Compbux boxing but it’s failing is that it doesn’t measure impact. Golovkin jabs are often powerful, they aren’t pitty pat

Yeah they should be but who knows how one judge scores it from the next. You get 3 judges that see things 3 different ways and you get 3 cards that are all over the place sometimes. These judges should be in a room, with a big screen monitor with no sound on scoring the fights. It amazes me sometimes how a clearly won round for one guy can be scored for the other guy out of nowhere.

Even the televisa cast, a Pro Canelo team, had it for GGG 116-112

GGG did win, again. But it was a closer fight, and it couldn't have been that for his sake. I think he won both fights clearly, but what can you do? This is boxing. It's honestly why I've started to drift away as a hardcore fan. It's not worth it.

You get more points for a power punch over a jab. As it should be, the power punch is doing more damage. To win with the jab you need to dominate the round, Golovkin wasn't doing that. You dont get any points for a jab or a power punch. You get scored for a whole round either winning it or losing it. Boxing may be better off using the old amateur scoring of landed blows or something because clearly different judges see fights in completely different ways and it leads to scoring that ruins great fights quite often.
