GGG won a boring fight . We all know they werent gonna give GGG a decision over the popular mexican.
Dont let this distract you from the fact that
Canelo need to be the A side to get two gifts over a guy who earned his victories.
Canelo has to be the most overated middleweight champ ever.

He got walked down all night. canelo beat the piss out of him.
hahahahahaha
such is the reality of prize fighting, when millions are to be made with Canelo, the boxing establishment will most likely give the close decision to the money maker. It's always gonna be like this, scoring round by round is very subjective when the fight is this close. Like the old saying goes, you gotta be the champ, but the champ is not always the belt holder, but usually the boxing establishment's moneymaker. You can't even compare the earning potential of a guy from Kazakhstan who speaks goofy English, to an exciting fighter from Mexico who looks white. Looking white is very important to celebrity status in Mexico.
In lower-tier boxing matches you see a lot of flat out rigging. As in One fighter can land one or two punches per round, get hit 50 times per round, and still when a "miraculous" decision.
You don't see what at this level. If Golovkin just totally dominated Canelo they would have had to give him the decision.
But all Golovkin could manage was a solid, close win. That's not enough given the disparity in promoter influence.
