ANTHONY JOSHUA'S promoter Eddie Hearn has revealed he has concerns about his fighter ahead of his bout with Alexander Povetkin. Joshua is preparing to defend his WBA, WBO, IBF and IBO heavyweight belts at Wembley Stadium on September 22. Click Here To Read More]
I still insist that Povetkin has a better resume than Wilder
It's simply the truth, and anyone who thinks this is an easy fight will be in for a big surprise.
Hearn talking out of his ass to try and hype the fight. There is no way Hearn would take any fight that would be risky for Joshua at this point unless he has made financial arrangements that take the risk out of it. I wonder how many millions he is paying Povetkin to lose this fight.
Sure, but who gives a f#ck is the thing.
I definitely think Povetkin can win this fight & I've already put a lil longshot money on him cuz the odds are retarded for that fight, but most people don't care about this matchup & idk that you can make them care. If Povetkin wins it'll say more about what Joshua isn't then what Povetkin is.
Most people just wanna see this Joshua vs Wilder vs Fury thing get worked out.Well said! Personally, I would rather see Joshua vs. Ortiz, than Joshua vs. Povetkin! I think Ortiz is better than Povetkin! I think Hearn is nervous because Fury is stealing AJ's shine! Fury is doing what Joshua should've done, and he's doing it for less than what Joshua was offered! If Fury wins, AJ instantly becomes #2 best in the UK! I'm sure Wilder will have a rematch clause, so that means if Fury wins, he'll get to face Wilder in the UK, and that will overshadow anything Hearn can do!
The irony of Wilder fans mocking this fight when Povetkin would be the best name on Wilders 40 fight resume.
Pedvetkin or Povetkin? One is a beast.. the other is garbage. Pedvetkin beats bermaine stiverne.. Povetkin gets stopped by stiverne, and ortiz..
now, with that said.. how can u say a guy who AJ hasn't fought or beat yet is better than anyone on Wilders resume? Would you like for me to destroy you with your own logic?.. ok, .."Fury is better than anyone on AJ'S record!" See how stupid that is?

... isn't this an old thread???
I think AJ will use Wlad's blueprint to beat Povetkin. Older, slower, no PED help, = very little chance.
This fight will be a boring, frustrating fight to watch. Jab and grab. If AJ wins, his best two wins will be a 39 yr old and a 41 yr old. Crazy but true.
Povetkin fight isn’t selling so good because only hard core fans know what he’s about
Povetkin isn’t a easy night for anyone and I recon he’s gonna put it on Joshua from the start . Should be a good one :boxing:
Most U.K. casuals have Jumped on the pikeys hype train .... it’s all good for boxing in the long run .
More exposure / more fights the better
The irony that hearn is now turning on his casual fanbase for not selling out the stadium he's booked
In other news hearn claims ppv is on its last legs. He's also planning chisora whyte as ppv.
This is the same outfit that fùcked the ppv market in boxing years ago. There's only so much pish they can sell to the casuals
