Latest interview on FightHype, he said most likely 147 or 150 (then reluctantly says maybe 154) even if he doesn't get the Khan or Pac fight.
DAZN and Hearn are thinking of creating their very own chocolate brownie weight class at 150 for Kell
Brook fanboys say Kell was weight drained when he was outclassed by Spence and that he was going to take over 154. He fought some bum at 154 and hasn't stepped foot back in the ring since
What is up with Brook trying so hard to fight below 154lbs? I get it for an Amir Khan fight, but he should really be trying to challenge top fighters at 154 in my opinion.
Hearn would prefer Manny vs Khan because he wants Manny to be the face of DAZN boxing, at least until GGG signs or Usyk or AJ become known statewide.
Khan vs. Brook is great business in the UK, but that's not Hearn's focus right now.
I'm not buying the "16 week training camp and he could get down to 147" BS either.
If you need to starve and train for 16 weeks to make weight you will never be 100% in the fight...... camps are about peaking at the right time, he could be totally shattered after 16 weeks.
Exactly, he has shown that he fades in many of his fights and I think part of it is due to the weight cut drain. He should fight at 154 or hang up his gloves.
Brook should just move up or retire, trying to make 147 at this stage of his career is moronic as he clearly struggles to do so

Kells Brook, quit again. Jr. middleweight was his 'ideal' weight class but the chicken cant take the competition! What a failure this Kells Brook is. Had offers from Hurd and b*tched out like he always does.
This parasite is a flea, riding Amir Khans nutsack!
I watched a Hearn interview where he said Brook's ideal weight would be 151lbs..... That 4lbs to 147 kills him, but he also is not a big 154 guy.
Brook's career has been such a disappointment. I was looking forward to some great fight at 147 after he won the IBF but Hearn never backed him to get the unification.
154 is absolutely his ideal weight but the truth is that he has no interest in having a real run at it as a 154 fighter, too many good fighters for little reward.
He's trying to land one last big payday and get out of the game and he won't find that at 154 now. He even said himself he only has a year or two left in the game.

Yea I could see Thurman vs Khan & Manny vs Kell come out being the fights. I said at the beginning of that deal Khan was gonna swerve away from that Brook fight when it came down to the last bout of the agreement. And I'm sticking to that. Idk if Khan fights Manny, Thurman, Spence or Bud, but I feel strongly it won't end up being Brook. You can damn near feel it in the air when Khan talks he has no interesting in fighting Brook.
And Brook just seems like he's looking for a cashout fight & ideally a cashout fight that he could win, which Khan would represent, so maybe he could parlay it into a 2nd cashout fight perhaps, vs some guy he'd have far less of a chance to beat. He'll take w/e he can get on a certain level I feel like & Manny would for sure be at that level.
I could definitely see Hearn talking to Manny about a Khan fight & Khan asking for more money & then Hearn sending the same deal to Brook & Brook signing on the dotted line while its still printing & only halfway out of the fax machine.
Yup, so Khan may need to accept whatever deal is on the table.
Brook is desperate right now and he will take any deal Khan rejects with Manny, just like he did with the Eubank/GGG situation
LOL 147...150...or 154. Well f#ck man.
Hearn don't seem to be enjoying that situation based on his mood when talking about it all. Khan must be a headache to deal with. He gets mad happy towards the end hyping DAZN doe lol. Much more enjoyable topic for him.
I bet that is gonna be like giving your pet a pill to get Khan to agree to fight Brook or Manny for less money. Hearn is gonna have to bend or we might not be seeing Khan's 3rd fight til summer or something further out then it should be.
Hearn wants to make the Brook fight, but also he wouldn't mind the Manny fight as he is building a international brand.
He is having a sit down with Khan today, if the Manny fight gets made it will be done within the next 3 weeks.
Hearn also says other top fighters at 147 are interested in the Khan fight. Now I don't know who these fighters are but I would guess Crawford and possibly Thurman (comeback fight). Maybe it would be a good time for Khan to take on a guy like Thurman coming off nearly a 2 year lay off and shoulder operation.
Brook still has options at 154, could easily walk into a title shot, but he just does not fancy it, he will continue waiting for Khan. He pulled out of his last fight because of Khan.
Eddie would probably have been more serious about making Khan vs Brook a few years ago, but right now he is more concerned with making DAZN a success and haiving Pac vs Khan would be a great look for them
But you never know we might end up seeing Brook vs Pac instead
