Amir was talking interview on a show about why he's fighting pacquaio instead of brook and he basically said if he beats pacquaio then people will forget about all his other losses to Garcia Peterson Canelo and all people will remember him for is beating the legendary pacquaio and thus cementing his legacy as one of the all time greats.
Is he right when he says this. It doesn't do anything in my eyes, all I would see is him beating a washed up old man who got beat by a school teacher a year ago.
Is Amir Khan deluded or is he bang on the monies
Naoya Inoue has the WBA Regular belt. As well as Rojas, Machado, Canizales, etc.
Khan should fight Thurman. And Brook should fight Manny. Winner fights the other winner in Spring. We get to have one belt in the end.
That's my ideal scenario.
inoue shouldnt yet be recognized as a Champion at 118. especially not in the history books.
WBA regular is a bogus title and should not have any value.
The only one of those names mentioned who has a right to call himself a Champion is Machado.
He won against the WBA Super champ Jezreel Corrales, but was somehow only awarded the regular title.
After that, Gervonta Davis was somehow fighting for the vacant WBA Super title against an inactive dude, who was coming off a loss.
Why was there even a title fight sanctioned for a vacant super title?
Wasnt the super title awarded for Champions who have unified or defended successfully a couple times?
A win against Khan wont move him another spot at the ATG list. But it is still a win over a lower top 10 or top20 welterweight and adds a little bit to his resume.
Nothing more, nothing less.
But he still has a chance to win the #1 spot for most devastating knockout of Amir Khan.
Is there already an updated Version of khan getting knocked out or hurt compilation on YouTube?

well i don't mean you're no good for holding a regular belt, i just find it difficult to recognise them as the champion when there's someone holding a superior belt in the same organisation.
Khan is saying he's doing it to win a world title...Manny only has the regular title which nobody cares about. That's why no fighters are calling out Charr or Rocky Fielding or whoever else holds a wba regular. Nobody cares about it.

There's nothing i'd love to see more than Manny knock Khan clean out, which he probably will.
Khan is simply trying to get a scalp, just trying to put a legendary name on the record, even if he's old.

depends if Pac looks good in the fight and there is no controversy in the win because If not it’ll be held on a par with his Barrera win.
The issue there is if Pac looks good in the fight then Khan is getting knocked out

Khan still can’t beat an old Manny.
Right now Manny Pacqiuao is ranked top five at welterweight, and really one can argue he should be top two if you consider the Horn lost a robbery.
Pacman beat a prime Jessie Vargas for the WBO welterweight title and a prime Jeff Horn ( in most experts scores ) add Lucas Mattyhsee and I think without any partiality you have to give credit where its due.
The hate for Amir Khan makes many fans unreasonable.
He would have to dominate Pacquiao convincingly like how Marquez did it.
Otherwise a win against Pacquiao these days is not worth that much on your record. Ask Jeff Horn.
Not much. Pac is old and past his prime. Ask Jeff Horn what beating Pac did for his legacy. No one gave him any respect and they wouldn't give Khan any either.
Thats because most people felt Manny won, even his haters like Boxingego and the LBC.

No one give him respect because he didnt beat pac just like bradley.
He will become one of the ATG if he can beat pac clearly. Floyd couldn't beat pac clearly that's why his own father and trainer uncle roger thinks that he should rematch and beat pac clearly to be called as one of the greatest.
He is deluding himself. He wants the Pacquiao fight for the money. He thinks he might be able to beat a 39 year old. If he had any balls and confidence in himself he would try to avenge his losses to Peterson, Prescott and Garcia. They are all active welterweights who would love to rematch him because Khan brings in good money. That's the way Lewis did things when he was knocked out. People will never forget his losses or his wins against cherry pick mediocre fighters like Vargas who damn near knocked him out and made him look like garbage. Khan is shot to hell. All he has left is his name. The good fighter Khan who fought Judah, Paulie and Maidana is history. Today's Khan is not good enough to be a world champion. Brook or Pacquiao would slaughter him. They are ten times better than Vargas.
Kinda odd people are stil saying Pac is 39 when it is known that he lied about his age so he can go pro at 16 (when you have to be 18 to be ranked).
