i made a thread before hand saying people overrated garcia before the thurman fight and they were overrating him again before the porter fight. know everyone gets things wrong but i dont understand why people seemed to think garcia was gonna time him jumping in and knock him out My biggest problem with Garcia is that he only has one gear. Porter gets hate from the black 'community' because he is not a 'thug' or 'flash and fly' doe. He no slickster either doe, he an oreo cookie doe. I think people were really underrating Shawn and overrating Danny as a welterweight. I understand that they may not like Porter's style, but that shouldn't discount him as a fighter. He's definitely proven that he belongs.

Nah. I never expected Porter to go down easily. The punches that Thurman landed on Shawn were more numerous and crisper. Yet Porter didn't go down. I expected an evenly matched fight last night.
