How do you figure that a lower filed purse will result in paying less taxes? Because funneling some of the money through other companies will result in that money being taxed at a lower rate than the fighter will pay if it's all personal income. Also gets around some of the local state & commission taxes. Not to mention sanctioning fees.

Even Eddie Hearn admitted that the PBC fighters are being paid more than reported. That's why he kept getting his "slave" deals turned down. There's nothing rumored about it. Filed purses are always bogus for the stars. They under report their purses to save money on taxes and sanctioning fees. I would expect all sports people have there own company's to run there business are you saying that get paid a salary then this. What you have just described is how most Sports people worldwide handle there business. I can believe you even sent this. That's not true. NBA, NFL and MLB players get paid a salary. Most fighters not on the PBC get paid a regularly as ordinarily income. You didn't see guys start really making their own promotional companies until Oscar and Floyd did it.

Because a lot of the fighters have their own promotional companies and Haymon will pay that company with residual money from ticket sales, international rights, merchandise, etc. That promotional company then gets to deduct expenses and pay the fighter in the form of dividends which is taxed as a capital gain instead of ordinary income.
