AMIR KHAN believes the final chapter of his career will change how people read his ring record. And the Bolton fighter won't walk away from the sport until he can leave with no regrets. Khan, 31, won Olympic silver at just 17 before going on to win two world titles at light-welterweight. Click Here To Read More]
If I thought this guy was serious about fighting someone with a pulse I would kick up a fuss. The safest thing for this idiot to do is to continue to do what he's always done tell them what he'd do to them and then quickly put the phone down.
Amir should take what little bit of name he has left and do things on the safe side of the ropes otherwise this kid is for sure going to be walking on his heels .Even his close friends know he's a accident waiting to happen!
I have always wonder, I always read about khan and never have I once hear any fan of him post anything, we all think he is delusional and a train wreck whenever he speaks, how can he still sell arenas? specially fighting a canadian Vargas? does anybody knows?
That would be a good fight??? Vargas is a solid B/B- fighter. Khan is an A fighter but his chin like Jacob's drops him to a B/B+ fighter. I always felt Roach was all bad for Khan and Steward should of trained him instead.
I don't think Jacobs should be compared with Khan. Jacobs is twice the fighter Khan is on his best day. Jacobs has a decent chin and he proved that by going the distance with huge puncher GGG. I can't imagine Khan going 12 rounds with somebody like Spence.Khan is not an A fighter even without a weak chin. Mediocre Peterson outfought him and Khan's weak chin didn't cost him that loss. He lost to Peterson because he lacked the all around skills and ring smarts to beat him. Maybe Khan deserved the win over Peterson in a very close fight. If Khan was really an A fighter with a weak chin he should have beat Peterson by a mile.
Lol ....How could we ever forget Khans first ppv fight when he was annihilated by a nobody in 56 seconds of the first round or when or when he clearly lost and amateurishly fouled OVER 50 times against the modest fighter Peterson and then blamed 'the man in a hat' for his loss....lol.....Then he fought a guy who at that time was deemed to be green behind the ears and had beaten only old men ......perfect for Khan .....NO......he was knocked from pillar to post and absolutely ...................................annihilated...AGAIN....!
Then after three easy opponents and a decent win over the since admitted pain killer addict and twice hammered Alexander came a move up .As Khan and his idiots will tell you he then moved up two weight divisions .Actually he moved up just one and one pound as the fight with Canelo wasn't made at the full middleweight limit but a catch weight of 155 .Khan said he felt 'brilliant' and this was now the weight for him. Khan was knock unconscious and lay completely still on his back out cold.
Khan now even tiresome to his even battle hardened taxi drivers had two years out talked of retiring and was in the media for making a complete prick of himself but then decided he could make some retirement money off his now very tarnished but still known name.
Two club fighters later and Khan is still making comments as above .......!Yep. That's Khan. One of very few boxers I love to hate and take pleasure in his defeats. Yes he can fight some but he is such a conceited jackass.
That would be a good fight??? Vargas is a solid B/B- fighter. Khan is an A fighter but his chin like Jacob's drops him to a B/B+ fighter. I always felt Roach was all bad for Khan and Steward should of trained him instead.
Unfortunately, you can't train a chin. You either have it or you don't. Khan doesn't. His really has a glass jaw. Or maybe it's made out of paper.
People will never forget Khan's defeats. They will always remember him flopping around like a fish out of water when Prescott and Garcia knocked him out.He could easily get rematches with Peterson,Prescott and Garcia who are all active welterweights. That's what he would do if he had balls and wanted to improve his legacy. That's what Lennox Lewis did. Instead Khan wants to fight cherry picks guys like Vargas he knows he can beat and get big money fights with 39 year old Pacquiao or 147 pound drained Brook and hope everybody forgets his humiliating KO defeats. People won't forget.
He won't beat Pacquiao. He makes too many mistakes. He won't beat Brook either. Khan's best wins was against an addict, Zab (who tried to milk a low blow), and Paulie.
Khan's best win was against Maidana where he wobbled to victory
