In order for Canelo to be more successful he would need to be more aggressive, throw more punches, stand his ground and fight for the full 3 minutes.
However, when has Canelo ever fought for the entire 3 minutes of a round? He can beat GGG to the punch due to his speed but he can only sustain those attacks in spurts. He does not have the stamina to maintain it. This is something that he will never fix.
If he becomes aggressive and exchanges more, he will open himself up more to GGG's punches and he will gas a lot quicker.
In my opinion, these are not simple adjustments for Canelo and I don't see him doing much different. Making these adjustments is asking him to do something he has never shown before.
The outcome of this fight will be determine based on GGG's adjustments. We know GGG can cut off the ring, we know he is a terrific body puncher and we know he has a solid jab which can be very accurate. If GGG makes these simple adjustments (combined with Canelo not being on the juice), he can get the win.
My prediction: GGG via SD or by mid to late KO.
Not at this age. Speed is the first thing to go as you get older. That's why heavyweights age better
Plyometrics, crossfit and other scientific whatnots man. Hire the best nutritionist and conditioning experts, ffs hire memo. I don’t mean miraculous improvements, just a bit of something would really help.
Coming in not as heavy would help as well.
Golovkin needs more bodywork for KO, Canelo needs better stamina, everything else is on his side, including judges. You can say Canelo wins 100% if it goes to decision
Canelo should fight somehow like how Floyd usually fights. Start the fight on his front foot, and beat GGG to the punch. He won’t really hurt GGG much to the point of wobbling him, but just start off the fight getting a bit of respect and hesitance from GGG.
Around round 3 Canelo should begin using his legs, and potshot GGG as he can get off first. Disrupt GGG’s momentum while he is charging by throwing that jab to the body. And limit the exchanges.
Disrupt and discourage him, rinse and repeat. Once he’s frustrated from all those feints and jabs to the body, fire away with those combos and jump out again. Test GGG’s patience all night as their team is somehow expecting more offense from Canelo. Instead he’ll be getting just as much as last time.
Canelo should do his best to make this a low output fight. if he can throw his power accurately as he did the first one, and limit GGG’s chances to throw his own he can win. Of course all easier said than done when u have a shtty stamina
For GGG, he should be very much training for speed. A bit of speed can help him a lot. Everytime Canelo rests he should take advantage and give his all to do some damage. When Canelo is on the ropes fire to the body to slow canelo down, and leak his gas tank even more.
GGG should remain consistent as he did the first time around.

Canelo doesn't have to change much, what he was doing was working, problem is he wasn't able to do enough of it or sustain his moments of success for long enough to clearly win. He just needs to be more active.
Also tying Golovkin up now and again would help he didn't do that in the first fight much and allow him to catch his breath and upset GGG's momentum.
Golovkin needs to start faster he gave up too many of the early rounds. He has to push the pace from the opening bell to make Canelo gas.
Golovkin had a lot of success with the jab but never went down stairs with it. Fact is Golovkin didn't go down stairs at all very much in the first fight and when he did Canelo was able to pick off the hooks to the body with his elbows. Canelo has a very short torso so his body is a small target and hard to find. But I think the jab to the body could be where GGG could wear Canelo down to the body instead of his usual hooks.
I just saw an interview we’re Golovkin was saying he had no love for boxing and that it was a business and on another interview I saw him say he dosnt owe anything to his fans only to his self and on another one he said that people that went for Canelo were fake people. Basically he’s been talking a lot of **** and he says he has one planonly a different strategy! Call me crazy but I think he’s gonna pull a klitchko vs povetkin on Canelo and add the jab followed by klintching and dirty tactics!
I think Canelo fought the best fight the could, he was winning the exchanges when he let his hands go but fighting one minute rounds isn't enough. He never hurt Golovkin once despite hitting him flush. He has to up his work rate this time round without getting caught with a monster punch.
Golovkin was sloppy with his power punches, he looked slow and ponderous most of his success came from his jabs. He needs to stick that jab in Canelo's face all night long and cut the ring off effectively. He can't rest on his laurels thinking he's done enough because the judges will take the fight away from him. Up his work rate and stamp his authority because Canelo does have good beard and is slick enough not to get caught clean.
GGG needs to establish his jab earlier and force the fight to the fringes of the ring. Once there, he needs to not show as much respect and attack more relentlessly.
Canelo needs to work the angles a bit better to thwart GGG's jab and focus more on getting off first in order to hold the centre of the ring.
GGG: Not get lit up like a Christmas tree
Canelo: Somehow lite that boy up like a Christmas tree even more than he already did in the first fight, which was a lot - and not get robbed by judges paid for by the Kazakh donkey government / Abel Sanchez / Tom Loeffler.
There were spots where Canelo darted in and landed some good punches and got out. But that was when he was desperate kinda like fighting for his life. If he can do more of that, he can break GGG down. Stay on his bike, hit the body and fight as strong as he can in spurts, but frequent spurts. Ideally, he needs to lands 2 out of 3 or 3 out of 5 punch combinations. Rinse/repeat.
GGG has to hit the body more, throw more punches, don't be so tentative, more pressure, take more chances. Maybe ruffle Canelos feathers to break his mind more.
If they fight the same exact fight, 8-4 GGG. Canelo really has to kick ass to win here. All eyes are watching.
