What concerns me the most abt Ryan Garcia

Well if he fix his damn defense then chin won't be as much of a concern. Problem with boxing is that is lacks great Trainers like Manny Steward who was a great TEACHER. Everybody from Kronk was known for having GREAT JABS and fought tall and long, Manny was GENIUS at getting guys to use to length to their advantage. Now in boxing, a lot of these young guys are just trying to Mimic Mayweather, not even PRIME Mayweather either but the Old Brittle Hands one punch at a time off the back foot Mayweather. Couldn't tell you one thing Ryan Garcia trainer said that was good advice during the fight. Nobody said "Keep Your Hands Up" "Stop Pulling Straight Back" "Move Your Head" :nonono:

He's just not that good. You have to understand how it works. You need certain level of abilities- which he has - but then among group of people all with similar talent, the one that will get a push is the one who can be promoted, sell tickets etc. When You see Gervonta, Haney, Teofimo - They are genuine elite prospects who are on another level to other young kids. Ryan is prospect like many - just with more noise about him. Gervonta isn't a prospect, he's already won a belt. Also, Teofimo hasn't done crap either and is your standard brawler, even done less than Ryan, who is going to end up a dud. Haney is a different story, you can see the talent.

Its simple he is not that good. He reminds me of an early Chavez Jnr but with less power and less chin.

Let him fight Davis now like he keeps saying he wants to, would be a short fight.

What should concern most about Garcia is he isn’t a elite level boxer and never will be The hype surrounding him is a product of his promoter wanting to s.uck his d.ick , teenage girls wanting to s.uck his d.ick and quasi h.omosexual boxing Fans wanting to s.uck his d.ick If boxing was a sport where you could succeed off looks and not Off talent he might have a shot but while it will open some doors for him he’ll never be a top end talent and as soon as he steps up he’ll get body bagged I wish fans actually paid attention to the young guns that have the potential to actually turn into something ( Haney , Teofimo , Baldares ) to name a few and not these hype driven lames like Garcia and Shakur Stevenson

...is his chin. Chin up in air can be fixed. But him being staggered by a jab from a non-puncher should be concerning. He is also moving up in weight which should help punch resistance but did not against morales.I don't think he is worth worrying about as far as being a future star and champion.He isn't very good and I doubt he ever will be. Even with Oscar matching him carefully he didn't really beat Morales. He isn't any better fighter than mediocre Morales just prettier and more marketable. If and when he fights better fighters than Morales I think he will lose.
