Dumb question, not sure why I answered.
I don't know no fighter who IGNORES his defense.
Even a guy like Gatti tried to defend himself, it's just that his defensive game was bad, with often a pretty bad strategy, and his reflexes were average at best.
Is this just a thinly veined dig at GGG Larry?
Well, I'm willing to bet a modest amount of money that if you go over all the threads Larry created in the last ~3 years, at least 30 or 40% of them will be thinly veiled digs at Golovkin.
Nah, boxing is an art. And i would prefer it stays that way. Not trying to patronise anyone but i can watch bareknuckle fights on Youtube if i wanted unskilled art.
Long time fans should know better though.
Everytime Floyd was at WW and said he was gonna KO someone, I laughed.
We should still call them out for the bullsh it and lies
No. But when a muh ****a says they're going to KO someone and they plan to hurt their opponent, dont get in there and dance around like a fůcking fairy

Great defense can be entertaining especially if they are in the pocket avoiding shots.
The issue for fans comes when the not get hit part becomes a bigger concern for the fighter than the hit part.
Tbh,I never criticise any fighters really. I’m not getting hit at all
I guess it would depend on if they have judges in the tank or if they suspect that their opponent has judges in the tank. Very hard to answer the question today with some of the score cards we've seen.

With defence you will see the 12th round that's all Nelo wanted, and may speak better in retirement. But every minute your defending yourself your not scoring. The guy firing punches at you is the one trying to win fight, whilst your trying to survive fight and hear final bell
Of course it is. It also is a "thinly veiled" way of endorsing Floyd's fleeting, pot shot and hold style as quality pugilism.
I thought so.
Plus I knew it had to have had something to do with Floyd
I like Larryxxx but sometimes they he needs to know that hes retired.

Fighters should do whatever it is they do best...it's up to the other guy to impose his style. That's what makes boxing interesting...there's no one right way to do it, and any fighter can win with their particular skill set on any given night.
