...First post for a while!
I'm calling it. There will be a Wilder v Fury followed by Wilder v Fury 2 rematch. Both will sail into retirement with $£40m+ each and leave AJ alone in the division with Hearn grasping at straws.
There will be no more "big" fights in this division for years... AJ will miss legacy fights and will rely on his current personality/endorsements/sponsorships to help the cashflow.
I can see this becoming a quiet division again.
If you think boxers don't set this kinda stuff up then you're wrong... was less than two years ago when DeGale outted Groves on a boxing show saying Groves called him to arrange "cash out" fights.
Back to sleep :boxing:
That is way too much detail for any dream and you never dreamed all that. That is just what you want to happen but it won't. If they made that kind of money in two fights they would doubtless stick around to make even more money. Humans are greedy that way. They would also try to fight AJ to try to prove they can beat him and make the most money of all.
Can't see any business between DW and Hearn now. Forget what fans want for this trio. Fury will have enough money to walk away again. We all know AJ DW could have been made with significant sums involved, is there really THAT much more to make? I don't think there is.
Why would that be a dream?
Wouldn't be ideal for anyone. Whoever won would be seen as a coward for retiring before the main fight? Fans don't get what they wanted at all.
