Trying to see if he has any major body differences from last years open workout but I cant find any shirtless pic from yesterday of him in the ring.
Here is the 2017 Canelo

Here is one of only a few pics of him in 2018.

Looks noticeably smaller up top in the shoulders and traps but hard to tell without similar shirtless pics of him to compare.. guess we will have to wait and see on fight night.
Yeah, who would have thought that a forum full of boxers, and people who work out would have knowledge of one of the most popular banned substances of the last 15 years?
If you want to know who the real dummies are, look for those who assume that because Canelo tested positive for only clenbuterol, the only drug he was taking was clenbuterol.
For a super-high profile athlete like Canelo to dope with ONLY clenbuterol would be like you or I walking into a Bank of America, pulling out a sawed-off shotgun, sticking it in the face of the clerk behind the counter, and asking for a single $5 bill.
If you're going to risk a long Federal prison stint, you steal a lot of $$$.
If you're going to risk a doping suspension, you dope effectively.
He looks exactly the same to me as he did this time last year. He is a stocky muscular boxer who lifts weights in training. He will weigh in at 160 pounds the same as last year.
Canelo looks dramatically smaller to me, and somewhat softer and slower as well.
I'm sure he will weigh-in within a pound or so of the his weight last year, but that is not the issue at hand; the issue is what will his body weight and body composition be when he steps into the ring on fight night, and how will it compare to last year?
If--for example--the Canelo of 2017 entered the ring at 177lbs with 6% bodyfat, and the Canelo of 2018 enters the ring at 168lbs with 10% bodyfat, that would mean that last year Canelo carried over 15lbs more muscle mass into the ring than this year (166.38lbs vs. 151.2lbs).
That would change the dynamics of the fight...significantly.
This is the elephant in the ring.
Didn't know the scene had so many Scientists/Boxing fans.

The top pic looks like the Hulk, while the lower pic looks like Bruce Banner.

Man we also have former boxers, champions, billionaires and Nobel Peace prize winners too lmao.
It's a drug that helps you maintain strength and muscle while losing weight, so you'd expect him to look smaller without it because he wouldn't be able to keep as much upper body muscle while taking the weight off.
There's also the way that a lot of people use steroids to bulk up which causes muscle and strength gains but also some fat, then post-cycle use clenbuterol to take the fat off while maintaining the benefits of the steroid. Canelo wasn't tested early enough last time for us to know if that's what happened, but was tested early enough this time that he wouldn't have had an opportunity.
Exactly my point thank you for pointing it out. Only retards would think he used it to lose weight only or as I’ve read others say it’s for asthma and he doesn’t have it so there is no need for him to use it
Who cares? We'll see him in the fight
This guy lmfao
Who cares if his body loooks smaller cause no matter what he didn’t cheat! His muscle mass is gone and he doesn’t look like the hulk but there isn’t anything to see here oh my god it’s hilarious

one of those isn't actually Canelo, see the arm & wrist tattoos?
He took it off right after his open workout and denying fans autographs before he exited and threw his shirt up to fans in the stands. But no one saw him because he was halfway into the exit area.
Meanwhile my boy Gennady like 45 hours there signing autographs and hearing mexican fans telling him to knock his cheating @$$ out. Class act.

He looks cold and starting his workout in your 2018 pic.
In the 2017 pic he's working his a.s off under a strong sun, his muscles are very active in a pad work sess and so much more contracted + the sweat giving a visual effect.
Canelo will be in shape, no doubt.
I'm sure by the time he rehydrates he'll look similar to how he usually does.
He probably just hasn't been able to lose weight and retain muscle like before because he isn't taking clenbuterol for this camp, so he has to make the weight more naturally, thus probably losing a bit of definition.
He looks more or less the same but he was definitely a bit bulkier last time.

He’s just built like a wrestler, that’s it
