I don't think you have any idea what you are talking about.
Agreed. He's got to be a top 5 delusional poster on here. It's just pathetic. He doesn't even know it either.
Those are some good drugs you're smoking.
Chad Dawson, the then LHW champion, moved down to 168 and LOST to Andre Ward. He then moved back to 175 and lost the lineal LHW title to Adonis Stevenson.
Did Alvarez vacate? If not, your argument has the validity of a burning pile of feces...
Dude. Erdei was champ. Not Dawson. At least that’s what you will have to say if you say that Canelo is champ. Otherwise you are inconsistent.
If you say Dawson has a better claim than erdei, then you will have to say that Golovkin is champ.
It matters not. It was still a recognized world title. And it was respected for obvious reasons.
Really. This is the end of discussion. Bye.
You keep moving the goal posts. You started by claiming Hopkins wasn't undisputed in 2001 because the WBO had been a recognized world title since the early 90s.
Which would mean when Tyson, Buster Douglas, Holyfield, Bowe and Lennox Lewis weren't undisputed world champions. Which isn't the case. So clearly you're wrong.
LMAO. You can't be that stupid.
There is NO precedent in boxing history that I'm aware of when a fighter loses his title as a result of moving DOWN in weight. The Alvarez and Erdie situations are not the same. Not even close.
Put down the Crack pipe..
Ha ha ha ha!
What if he never moves back up and defends his title you twit?
Not only that, he moved up as well. You have got to be the biggest fkn idiot on this forum.
You're the only one trying to rewrite history. WBO was not required for undisputed until 2007. That is fact.
You are claiming Douglas, Holyfield, Bowe, Lewis, etc weren't undisputed. That's a lie.
You are claiming Jones, Wright and Spinks weren't undisputed. That's a lie.
You are claiming Judah, Tszyu and Whitaker weren't undisputed. That's a lie.
Clearly you haven't been watching boxing a long time. NYSAC+NBA = undisputed for decades. Those titles became the WBC and WBA, which = undisputed for decades. Then WBC+WBA+IBF until 2007 when the WBO finally gained full recognition.

The obvious has gone completely over your head - which happens quite frequently.
There will be tighter drug screening for this fight - on BOTH sides. That means Bumlovkin won't have the benefit of whatever special power pellets he's normally on for this fight. Probably the reason why he's been acting out of character lately...
So what you're saying is that you're stupid while admitting that Canelo can't beat a bum lol
:tapedshut:owned:
They fought for title in the early 90's, which is 1991-1994. You're biased for an agenda but you can't simply rewrite history no matter how badly you try chief. That's all.

I see now that I'm debating with a ****ing idiot. There's no need to continue as you need to use what few braincells you have for more important tasks - like breathing.
Lol..
Lol @ the fact that you really don't even know how ignorant and bias you are. Just stfu talking to me already you fkn twit. You've been so embarrassingly bested a long time ago, I'm even feeling sorry for you. Canelo lost and you d@mn well know it. Go cry about it lil b@tch
Woah woah woah. Don't try to move the goal posts. You said early 90s. Don't try to change it to the 90s now.

Lmao like he did the last fight right? The problem is you buy into the hype the comment section of this and other boxing websites man.
He was suppose to ko Nelo last time but didn’t and the excuses were made for ggg such as Canelo running and etc..
The fact is he only knockouts bums he Could not ko Jacobs, he couldn’t ko nelo the first time.
His hand speed is slow, no way he will land a punch on nelo that he won’t see coming to ko him.
Golovkin is hyped by every interview and article to make it seem like he is some sort of animal when in reality he is a Kovalev and this September Canelo is Ward.
Canelo is Ward?? I guess we can expect a blizzard of elbows headbutts and low blows. Bummer......
I'm saying that the WBO was a respected and recognized world title in the 90's. That's why George Foreman, Morrison and Mercer fought for it. You can take that how you want it as a fact.
Woah woah woah. Don't try to move the goal posts. You said early 90s. Don't try to change it to the 90s now.
It was NOT a respected or recognized world title outside of the UK in the early 90s. Fighters had to vacate the WBO to fight for a proper world title. The WBO heavyweight champion repeatedly vacated to fight for the proper world titles and top fighters refused to fight for the WBO so it wouldn't affect their rankings for the proper world titles. Even as late as 2004, Corrie Sanders vacated so he could fight for a vacant proper title.
There's no way you were watching boxing back then if you believe what you're writing. HBO refused to recognize the WBO. The top fighters refused to recognize it. Holyfield refused to accept it when he fought Bowe.
Ray Mercer, Michael Moorer, Riddick Bowe, Henry Akiwande and Corrie Sanders all quickly vacated the WBO heavyweight title because holding an unrecognized title was damaging their career.
Canelo never left the division-he was suspended but still a MW. To my knowledge he hasn't fought above 160.
He went below. To jmw. Erdei went up. To cw. Same thing.
Saw that. I was referring to the idiotic claim that it is a fact GGG won the Canelo fight.
He did win even if it wasn't the official result. I've proven it. 90% of fighters and experts don't say a fighter won when he didn't. Byrd's scorecard was incompetence or a payoff. You choose. Either way, I'm not wrong.
Look earlier in this conversation and you'll see I did the very same thing about Hopkins re-establishing lineage after beating Tito.
:booty:

I post I am wrong often when I have been proven wrong. That is how adults behave. Perhaps you should learn how to do same.

Hmmmm.......so you're saying you were wrong huh?
Interesting.

With no dope, Canelo will get squished. Watch closely and cry.
I fkn dare Canelo to go toe to toe this time.
Oh yeah, I completely forgot about that fight. I stand corrected.
Now that I think about it, he also left the fight before that to win the WBO JWW title from Smith.
Hmmmm.......so you're saying you were wrong huh?
Interesting.
I think he IS the lineal champion based on him beating the no. 2 namely Jacobs at a point in time where Canelo had left the division.
Boxingscene's own historian Cliff Rold dropped the ball by failing to acknowledge Golovkin as the lineal champion by arguing that Canelo gave 'lipservice' about his intentions. Cliff forgot that he stripped lineal LHW champion Zsolt Erdei immidiately after he moved up to cruiser. Erdei moved back down later.
So the precedent standard was set by Erdei and therefore Golovkin is the true lineal champion.
Canelo never left the division-he was suspended but still a MW. To my knowledge he hasn't fought above 160.
Except his 164½ fight against JCCjr.
