Joshua will be know as a ducker, never to have faced his main rivals, sat back and took the easy fights while the others manned up and fought.
Fury beat Klitschko first, Joshua was too scared to step up. Joshua even made excuses not to fight Fury back then
Now the WBC champ, Wilder will face off against the Heavyweight lineal champ.
If Fury wins, he will be forever ranked above Joshua, then man to stepped up and be the champions, while Joshua hid behind Eddie Hearn.
Wilder has already proved that he is willing to step up for the big fights only for Joshua to duck him, and beating Fury will cement his position above Joshua.
These could have been scalps of undefeated champs on Joshua's record, but with them fighter each other one will be definitely gone, and with time running out in their primes, Joshua's best win is still against a 41 year old Wlad, who was coming of a loss to Fury.
Ducking hurts your legacy, and not taking the big fights when then the present themselves, for not chasing them, when they are so few around, shows the world that you are not a champ, just a fraud.
Fury and Wilder, criticize their style all you want, but they will step up and back up their words rather than hide behind their promoter, stay at home and take the safe fights.
So Wilder, with 40 fights and OBVIOUSLY no unifications wasnt steered clear of dangerous fights? He couldve fought Fury, Klitschko, etc.
That's what I said:
... (including Wilder) ...
But for the last several years, Wilder has been ready to take on all comers. Klitschko and Wilder were steered clear of each other by Finkel because Wilder had just won the WBC title. The Fury-Wilder unification was in the works three years ago, but that didn't happen for obvious reasons. And now Joshua continues to be protected from Wilder because he's just not ready yet. It's been a great meteoric climb for Joshua, so there's no real shame in that and there's no rush. But it DOES mean he's not really the man to beat. Wilder is. Ever since Fury left, Wilder has been the last champion standing. Now that Fury is back, in order to truly be the number 1 heavyweight, Joshua has to fight the winner of the Wilder-Fury WBC-lineal unification. Should be in 2020.
This is show business, son and the show is still going on. The fight between Joshua and the winner of Wilder vs Fury is building as we speak and WILL take place. Right now Joshua vs Wilder or even Fury is big, but after Wilder vs Fury, & Joshua vs Povetkin, it will be even bigger. Anticipation is part of the game. And it's no accident nor is it ducking that's making us have to wait.
Joshua has fought 4 out of 10 guys in Top10, and is fighting another guy next month who's in Top5.
What in the bloody effing hell are you whining about?
What legacy? He went life and death with an old man coming off a shutout loss. He has beaten literally nobody. And before anyone gets worked up, either has Wilder. No legacy's exist for either man.
Right now he can still fight Wilder, but Mr Johnson is seen as listening to his ****** promoter and trying to age Wilder and not respecting Wilder. And boxers and boxing fans world wide know that he's scared of Wilder. That's why he gets no respect until he fights Wilder.
Joshua was steered clear of Wilder TWICE. The first time was understandable because Wilder was the only champion around and Joshua was still an up and comer. But yes, I agree, still a great run... Just not good enough yet for Wilder...

This is simply not true. There's only one fight he's shied away from, and that's Wilder. He's fought absolutely everyone else.

Yeah. AJ doesn't get criticized for anything other than the BS surrounding the Wilder fight. Otherwise, you can't take anything away from who he fought.
Yep. There's no need to make stuff up.

Joshua's legacy hasn't been tarnished, but more and more people are starting to realize how he became rated as the number 1 heavyweight in the world. Like most fighters (including Wilder), he was strategically steered away from dangerous fights. Instead of staying in the WBC and fighting Povetkin for a chance to fight Wilder, he chose an easier path picking up the Fury belts. The Joshua-Klitschko scrap was a great fight, but Klitschko was supposed to be shot when Joshua fought him. A different version of Klitschko showed up, took him into deep waters and instantly catapulted Joshua to superstar status.
However, since then, Joshua has looked less than stellar. He's still one of the top three heavyweights in the world, but now that he's unified against Martin, Klitschko and Parker, the pressure will be mounting for him to either fight Fury or finally take on the one champion he avoided (twice) during his impressive pro run. Should happen in 2020 after fighting a much older version of Povetkin, and satisfying the WBO and IBF mandatories with Whyte and Pulev.

All irrelevant. Wilder wants Joshua, tried to make the fight and Joshua and Hearn didn't want it.
He just signed a big deal with Eddie worth 100 million. It doesn't matter if he fights bums or the top fighters he get that money for his fight deal.
Fury and Wilder are in the game for the glory. Joshua is here for the money. Eddie and Joshua both thought the Wilder fight was too much of a risk as a lost would cost them tens of millions.
In other words, no, you can't defend him.
This was a waste of time.
And Lennox went after them, didn't need to fight at home. But then again he was confident in his abilities.
As we saw a 41 year old Wlad who was outboxed by Fury, out boxing Joshua.
If Wilder beats Fury, he is the WBC champ and the lineal champ. Don't see why he needs Joshua.
Joshua still has not scalp on his record. Quite pathetic really.
The reason to why Lennox fought in the states was down to the scene being in America. Had he wanted the fights at home the Americans would have told him where to go. It was a great struggle to get them in their own country, let alone having to travel as well.
Joshua is confident in his abilities, but he still should be allowed to have home-court considering he's the A side. Americans wouldn't do the same if it was the other way round. They'd laugh in your face.
Wlad didn't outbox Joshua, it was a close fight all the way to the end.
Wilder needs Joshua to become number 1 and undisputed. To think otherwise is just plain stupid.
Joshua has the best 21 fight record in Heavyweight history. To claim he doesn't have any scalps is just beyond pathetic.
Joshua fights at home because he's the A side and gets to choose, just like every American A side in history did.
Which judge in a Joshua fight ripped off another fighter?
The ref in the Parker fight broke them up a total of 6 times, so don't try and make something of it.
Lennox did demand the top Americans face him, but it didn't stop them from ducking for years or not fighting him at all. Joshua will fight Wilder in April if he's reasonable with his demands. But as of now, he's pricing himself out of the fight whilst at the same time asking for a ridiculous contract in his favour which has never before been done in history. But you still defend that? Pitiful.

Or he could be known as TBE and just fight them 5 years after he should have or after they've all beat each other up already lol.
Fighting them all in his backyard, with Eddie getting the judges and ref on side.
Did Lennox Lewis take this approached or did he seek out the best and demand they face him?
Joshua fights at home because he's the A side and gets to choose, just like every American A side in history did.

He is stepping up to the lineal heavyweight champ.
Who is far from being in shape and looked like **** against 2 bums. So yeah, Wilder ain't stepping up to ****. Fury looks old and shot out there. Don't pretend otherwise.
Wilder offered up a $50 million for Joshua. Eddie turned it down.
If Wilder vs Fury gets a million PPV then Wilder can demand more money as he will be have generated more cash.
Joshua wanted the fight in the UK which was his choice considering he's the A side. Wilder wasn't exactly getting peanuts to come over here. It was by far his biggest payday but he still turned it down. Wilder is so delusional that he called 15 mill "Crackhead money" even though he usually fights for 1.5 mill. Haha.
It won't sell a million on PPV, don't be so stupid. And besides, this fight will do better than Wilder usually does because it has Fury attached to it. Do you think Wilder will still make those kind of paydays outside of Fury or Joshua? Get a brain will you. Wilder will go back to peanuts fighting on basic Showtime. No one would PPV Wilder against his usual stream of bums.
