Jacobs, Golovkin and Charlo have a great chance. Awful matchup for Canelo.
not really. when you know the judges are going to favor you you can do very little. you don't have to take risks and this in turn means you can fight freely while your opponent knows they have to do more. this forces them to make mistakes on which you can capitalize on. if they don't take more risks you win a decision in a close fight where nothing much happens. saunders is the kind of guy who prob wouldnt take risks and would just lose a decision. canelo would look bad but there is not much danger of losing.

They both have done sweet FA at 160.
I think GGG knocks Saunders out but he'd beat Canelo on points. Although the fight would have to be in the UK for him to get the decision.
This ^^^^^^
Saunders at his best is a master boxer who is more than capable of giving any fighter in the division and absolute boxing lesson its hard to beat such a technically good boxer with great footwork, handspeed and iron chin. If i was any of the other top men in the division i would avoid him like the plague.
I thought Andy Lee beat him, even with the 2 knockdown round. Golovkin I would favor and Canelo would be even money. Charlo maybe but he’s not fought any good Middleweights yet so it’s hard to know.

Depends which Saunders turns up. The Lemieux Saunders beats them all but Saunders has not regularly been this good. I watched a video a while ago and he said he was looking after himself better between fights so camp was about preparing to fight and not making weight. Hopefully, still the case.
GGG is not as dumb as Lemieux as far as slugging away with power punches. Canelo would probably have problems with Saunders moving away a lot. It would be a boring fight.

I'd love to see Saunders lose his belt and become a nobody. I've never liked him at all but I do give him credit for his boxing style. I think the winner of GGG-Canelo fights Saunders instead of a 3rd GGG-Canelo fight.
the only MWs Insee beating Saunders right now is Andrade ( could go either way ) , Golovkin & Charlo
But everyday that passes is beneficial for Saunders if he fights Golovkin. I wouldn’t give him much of a chance against Charlo
I think he's competitive against all the top guys in the division (Canelo, GGG, Charlo) but there isn't one I'd comfortably pick him to beat. I think Andrade is 50/50 to be honest. If he makes a real statement against Andrade though then that boosts his stature a lot.
