Seems like after the Floyd v pac argument current groups going at it is Americans v the brits when did this happen? I remember everyone pretty much unanimously agreeing that Wilder was awful, Joshua was a big stiff idiot with some potential and the fact that boxing is the second biggest sport in the UK which is a pretty big market was a good thing. When did it become about patriotism? Why are American fans even acting like they care about the sport it’s dying a death over here. Isn’t it better if Hearn comes over and brings some success? I saw nothing but hatred for Haymon last year now Hearn is the new villain?
I guess you missed that Part, you guys get a Hard On over a UK guy beating a D Level American it is HILARIOUS actually. While Americans will really don't care much about what is going on over in the UK for the most part. Nobody BRAGS about Maurice Hooker beating Terry Flanagan in fact most Americans thought he would lose :nonono:
I stand on my Original Post 1000% when the VERY BEST match up between USA vs UK, the Americans tend to come out on top more :dunno: I know it hurts for some people but again this is PRIDE, PRIDE distorts some people reality, they want things to be in their favor so bad that they will stretch and twist the truth
Who are these top Americans who beat the top Brits most of the time?
As an American you're talking about pride?? If only you understood irony you wouldn't come close to writing this level of ****. Americans are overly proud to the point of nauseous. I consider you lot as being psycho nationalists. So you got that backwards as well.
I think the UK resurgence in boxing was what started it and the jealousy peaked when we had most world champions than any other country.
Personally I don't hate any American fighter, even Wilder. I actually like the guy and think he is good for the sport. It is his fans that are completely delusional and unbearable.

Where have you been the last hundred years? There’s always been national pride.
As far as promoters. There all sleazy.
I am a long time boxing fan who lives in New Mexico USA and I pick my favorite boxers by how they fight in the ring and conduct themselves in and out of the ring. What country they live in or are from makes no difference to me.I don't think boxing is dying in the USA. Spence, Crawford and Mikey are all top 10 pfp boxers and the UK has nobody in the top 10 pfp unless you include AJ and I don't. Great boxers from other countries like Cuba and Russia relocate to the states and not the UK to train and fight. Las Vegas, not London, is the boxing capitol of the world. I have nothing against UK boxers and like some of them a lot but I think what I have said is fact.
Can't help but laugh at some of the responses in this thread... but hey if this is what some people need to feel some self worth in their lives then who am I to judge.
It is a rivalry when nations fighters fight each other the amount we fight each other. I mean, no country has beaten more Americans than we have. But if we're talking about who has the deepest history with the most fighters reaching the top, of course America comes out on top. Your country dwarfs ours. So it stands to reason.
Brits don't rip every good American fighter apart the way you guys do to us and other Europeans. So you've got that backwards. To think it's the other way just shows what level of delusion and madness we're dealing with here. And neither do we feel insecure when an American fighter does well. The same cannot be said when it comes to overseas fighters doing well and you lot giving credit.
You should look at the history between the two nations when it comes to who beats the other more. We are well in front. I've had to correct plenty of Americans before on this.
When the very best from the US fights the very best from the UK MOST of the time it is a damn SLAUGHTER in the ring

yeah i dont get it to be honest. keep hearing how delusional brits are, cause we think joshua beats wilder? is that really that unrealistic, fury is betting favourite against him and hes been out on a cocaine binge for 2 years. None of us think we have the best fighters overall but we do have a lot of good heavyweights and as things stand we are the top dog in that division i'd say. DOnt see why we've got to be torn down cause we are proud of our boxers and show them support. some weird obsessive posters, a lot of people seemed to get worked up about parker v whyte being ppv, as if it affected them in some way.
Is Fury really the favorite against Wilder? That would be insane considering what you just said, he has been out for 2 years doing God knows what.
It is no US vs UK Rivalry, Rivals are actually COMPETITIVE! When it comes to US vs UK is not on a level playing field in fact NOBODY vs the US is a damn level playing field when talking about the HISTORY of this sport and that hurts some of you so bad that you just hate all American Fighters. It is America and then The REST when it comes to BOXING HISTORY! Europe Created boxing and the Americans Mastered It. Yeah I know it hurts for some people but it is FACTS.

The reason why Americans are speaking up more is because of the disrespect towards us from UK GUYS as well as the "FAKE" WANNABE Eastern Europeans who think some how they have taken over boxing because they finally have some talented boxers :dunno:
Some of you guys need to be reminded sometimes, I know PRIDE gets the best of people and it make some people say very stupid things!

UK just holds belts until WE take 'em.
You should do some research on which nations fighters have taken more world titles from each other over the last 40 years.
I'll give you a clue... Americans don't come out on top.
You can be prideful as you want I suppose I just wondered when it started seem to be the two biggest groups on these forums nowadays.
Naw, Americans being Prideful always get negative backlash from what I notice :dunno:
But Mayweather vs Hatton really sparked US vs UK particularly on the Internet leading up to that fight.

two words;
Johnson Wilder.
Yeah I really don’t get that too. Due to the whole Joshua/Wilder debate everyone is going nationality crazy. I really couldn’t care less. But I know some think I care about the British guy. I just like to cut it the way I see it, irrespective of what is American or British.
I’m fee the same way you do regarding this
The Respond I wanted to PROVE MY POINT! You see the double standard here. Americans being Prideful and Rallying behind Americans Fighters is considered "ARROGANT" but when other Rally behind their own that is considered "Countrymen Pride"

So Americans can't be Prideful Basically because it is Unfair for us to be I guess :lol1: :dunno:
While other people can will Take an entire region of the world and try to match them up against America and use them as the face of their Anti American Agenda.
