Why are people acting like this generation of HW is something special. This is literally the era of "find the biggest mofo you can find and put him in a ring." In terms of skills Fury is the only one with any actual footwork, the rest are learning fundamentals late in life and beating considerably smaller men. The fact if you are 6' 4" or taller and can turn into a HW fighter at any age at this point speaks volumes about the state of that division still.
He's fighting Povetkin next. When did Povetkin get made out to be some kind of joke? he's one of the best fighters in the division, and just as good as Ortiz.
Povetkin would be the best man on Wilders record, not that he would ever fight him unless he was drugged and dragged to the ring like the A Team used to do to get B A on a plane.
yeah i agree, when joshua has his hand raised after the pov fight he literally wont even be able to smile with all the torment going on inside over the wilder deal going south, and the irony is the only person who can save him from all this is wilder himself!! All he has to do is sign for next april and all the happiness comes back, if he doesnt want to do that its back to misery again for joshua and hearn & how are they going to keep avoiding ortiz too, i mean its just too obvious now, these guys just want their cake and want to eat it too, disgusting.
I agree with all of this except for the signing part. Technically it's Wilder who needs to agree to the deal on the table. Maybe AJ can sweeten it by offering a $17M flat fee or 35% of net profits??

Tyson Fury vs Deontay Wilder is for undisputed and lineal as far as I'm concerned. There's no dispute that AJ's belts belong to Tyson Fury.
Fury won't win, unfortunately. I want him to win, but his last fight was pretty ugly to watch.
Wow, what an angry person. If you need to try and belittle people on an internet forum, you clearly have issue some problems. I can envisage you as being someone who was bullied.
AJ is babysitting Tyson Fury's belts. :bottle:
Kinda crazy how AJ went from being widely respected to constantly bashed in just a year's time. I think avoiding the Wilder fight irked a lot of people, then half of his remaining fans jumped back on the Fury train. I guess his last two fights didn't help him out either.
it was funny watching all of AJ fanboys bash canelo for the same behavior AJ exhibited...then made excuses for AJ
as I said...the growing backlash will give hearn and AJ almost no choice...they cant skirt it much longer...too much pressure....being called too many names and called out by guys from his home country already

I used to think that Fury was the rightful champ but its been so long since he did anything but talk. Joshua is active earning and building a career, and Fury may look at him one day and see everything he couldve been.
Alright princess, don't get angry about it.
You're a moron. I'm not angry about that fact; I pity you.
I wasn't saying that all wins and losses are equal but you are completely aware that records exist and records can dictate the course of careers.
Non sequitur. You downplayed how ****ty Martin, Parker, and 41 yr old Klitschko were in comparison to Klitschko at the peak of his reign.
Really, the bottom line is, you back Fury, so do I. It's Heavyweight boxing that we are talking about and shocks happen. Martin or Glazkov could beat Fury if the shot lands nicely. You'd be 'dence' to deny that.
I don't have any vested interest in Tyson Fury. I'm someone who knows something about boxing, unlike you. You think Martin and Glazkov could beat Fury, that says enough LMAO.
In all honesty, did anyone back Fury to beat Klitschko? I didn't. If you did, fair enough but I won't believe you.
What does this have to do with anything? You lack reading comprehension skills.
You have some double standards in your argument but that's cool, your opinion counts. I agree that Fury will be a world champion again soon.
No, I don't. AJ is babysitting Fury's belts. :bottle:

Sorry but Fury doesn't get to keep his world title belts by sitting on his fat ass feeling sorry for his poor millionaire self and not defending them for years. He basically threw those belts away because he is an unstable depressed crybaby. AJ won those belts in the ring. He is a fighter who stays in great shape and is dedicated to being a boxing champion.
For sure. I'm personally hoping he regains those titles, but that last fight turned a lot of his fans off.

Your opinion of what a win and a loss is, is proper confusing! lol.
A win is a win. A loss is a loss. Records cannot be disputed.
Agree that Hughie should have got something out of the fight, even if it was a rematch.
Yeah, fully appreciate that Martin was handed the belt but Martin was No3 and Glazkov was No1. Who else was going to fight for it? Btw, No2 was vacant. Martin or Glazkov would still have had a shot at Fury if he hadn't been stripped.
Also, lets not forget that Fury is took PED's. In my mind, he is now a drugs cheat. There is nothing to disprove that his victory against Wlad was down to the PEDs.
Proper confusing? What? Anyway...
Not all wins and losses are equal you simpleton. Beating a bum who won a belt against a bum isn't the same as beating an actual champion. Beating a 41 year old man coming off a 2 year layoff and an embarrassing loss is not the same as beating a 38 year old man who's held the belts for a decade. Don't reply to any part of this message if you disagree with me on this point.
FACT: There's no definitive proof that Fury took PEDs for the first fight. He popped a year after the fight before their scheduled rematch, amid his coke binge. Your speculation means nothing to me. I think AJ is taking PEDs, yet I'm not dumb enough to claim that there's nothing to disprove this.
And do you really think Martin or Glazkov would have beaten Fury if they had a shot? Are you dense? lmao
AJ is babysitting Tyson Fury's belts. :bottle:
Oh man, now I know you are just being a wind up.
v Fury, Klitschko is at his peak but against AJ its not a valid win. Joker.
You know Parker got the W against Hughie, right?
Considering that AJ fought a beltless Klitschko coming off a 2 year layoff and a shutout loss I'd say it's a much less valid win than Fury's, if you can even consider it valid LOL.
Hughie Fury got robbed. Ruiz as well. Also Charles Martin won the IBF belt because his opponent (who was also a bum) suffered a freak injury. AJ is babysitting Tyson Fury's belts. :bottle:
In the last 3 years Joshua has fought:
Whyte (current top 10)
Martin
Breazeale (current top 10)
Molina
Klitschko (old but a legend)
Takam (current top 10)
Parker (current top 10)
And lined up to fight Povetkin (current top 10) next
In that time Fury has fought:
Safari
And lined up to fight Piniata.
Fury got done for drugs, went on a coke and food fuelled binge, put on 15stone and looked like he could barely get out of bed let alone defend the HW title. He was not the champ.
Call him lineal champ fine. That title can be just as unreliable as any other (please see the LHW and MW lineal titles). In real terms, Fury is not the champ
