The growing disrespect for anthony joshua as a fighter & man

Why are people acting like this generation of HW is something special. This is literally the era of "find the biggest mofo you can find and put him in a ring." In terms of skills Fury is the only one with any actual footwork, the rest are learning fundamentals late in life and beating considerably smaller men. The fact if you are 6' 4" or taller and can turn into a HW fighter at any age at this point speaks volumes about the state of that division still.

He's fighting Povetkin next. When did Povetkin get made out to be some kind of joke? he's one of the best fighters in the division, and just as good as Ortiz. Povetkin would be the best man on Wilders record, not that he would ever fight him unless he was drugged and dragged to the ring like the A Team used to do to get B A on a plane.

Yeah it's pretty bad. Joshua has had nearly two dozen fights now and he still hasn't unified all the titles or beaten all of the top 10. Pathetic.

Tyson Fury vs Deontay Wilder is for undisputed and lineal as far as I'm concerned. There's no dispute that AJ's belts belong to Tyson Fury. Fury won't win, unfortunately. I want him to win, but his last fight was pretty ugly to watch.

Kinda crazy how AJ went from being widely respected to constantly bashed in just a year's time. I think avoiding the Wilder fight irked a lot of people, then half of his remaining fans jumped back on the Fury train. I used to think that Fury was the rightful champ but its been so long since he did anything but talk. Joshua is active earning and building a career, and Fury may look at him one day and see everything he couldve been.

Sorry but Fury doesn't get to keep his world title belts by sitting on his fat ass feeling sorry for his poor millionaire self and not defending them for years. He basically threw those belts away because he is an unstable depressed crybaby. AJ won those belts in the ring. He is a fighter who stays in great shape and is dedicated to being a boxing champion. For sure. I'm personally hoping he regains those titles, but that last fight turned a lot of his fans off.

Agree that Hughie should have got something out of the fight, even if it was a rematch. Yeah, fully appreciate that Martin was handed the belt but Martin was No3 and Glazkov was No1. In the last 3 years Joshua has fought: Whyte (current top 10) Martin Breazeale (current top 10) Molina Klitschko (old but a legend) Takam (current top 10) Parker (current top 10) And lined up to fight Povetkin (current top 10) next In that time Fury has fought: Safari And lined up to fight Piniata. Fury got done for drugs, went on a coke and food fuelled binge, put on 15stone and looked like he could barely get out of bed let alone defend the HW title. He was not the champ. Call him lineal champ fine. That title can be just as unreliable as any other (please see the LHW and MW lineal titles). In real terms, Fury is not the champ
