DEONTAY WILDER will be offered in excess of 6m to face Dillian Whyte in November. Whyte's promoter Eddie Hearn will table the bid to the WBC champion after his man's explosive points win over Joseph Parker on Saturday. Click Here To Read More]
Seems to me Hearn wants to get Wilder beat so he doesn't have to allow AJ to fight him, Hearn is ducking Wilder like the plague.
Promoters are the worst Divas in boxing they throw wet blankets over most of the biggest fights.
Sorry, but no matter how many times you incorporate this lie, it isn't all of a sudden going to be the truth.
You weren't saying this at first, but all of a sudden you want to make this claim? You are desperate.
The claim has never changed. Hearn's IFL interviews tell the story. He admitted the fight was worth more in the US, but claimed it wasn't worth much more. He said Wilder's side was claiming it was worth 100 million in the US, but that in his opinion it was worth 40-45 million in the UK and maybe a few million more in the US.
Nobody ever said it was worth 100 million in the UK. Not AJ's side and not Wilder's side. The only 100 million claim, a claim AJ's side didn't believe, was that the fight was worth that much in the US.
That is what AJ was referencing in that interview. He flat out said, they claim it's worth 100 million, if so, give me 50. Had nothing to do with a UK fight because nobody ever said it was worth that in the UK. The argument was over whether the fight was only worth a few million more in the US, or worth over double more in the US like Wilder's side was insisting.
He replied to Finkel's claim that the fight was worth 100 million IN THE US. Nobody ever said it was worth 100 million in the UK. AJ & Hearn had both gone on record before that interview saying Finkel was claiming it was worth 100 million in the US and that they thought he was full of ****.

Joshua, Wilder, Ortiz, Povetkin, and Pulev are all better than Dillian Whyte and that's without thinking too hard. An on-form Tyson Fury embarrasses Dillian Whyte. None of those names should be in any dispute.
I don't see Whyte beating Parker in a rematch, I don't see Whyte beating Breazeale, I don't see Whyte beating Takam (unless he catches him with something), and I don't see him beating Tony Bellew. And that's before you get to folks like Bryant Jennings and others.
Skill for skill, you maybe put Whyte in the bottom of the top 20, and that's without knowing everyone.
You get your ranking based on what you do, not by opinions. Whyte is now higher ranked than Pulev and Ortiz. It's because he has a win much better than any of those guys. That puts him just behind Joshua Wilder and Povetkin, which makes him top 5.
You don't see Whyte beating Parker in a rematch? Don't be stupid. Parker would do nothing different to how he's just fought. To suggest Parker is still ahead of Whyte even though he's just lost last weekend shows you're not willing to be reasonable. Your opinion is worth less than nothing.
Whyte beats Brezeale and Takam all day long. You know Wilder is probably fighting Brezeale next so want to try and boost it. Sorry, but that's ridiculous.
Bellew is too small for Whyte. Bellew doesn't need to be fighting natural fighters at Heavyweight, that would be a stupid move. And Jennings? Hahaha that guy is a bum. Don't fool yourself.
All in all, one of the worst posts I've ever seen in my life. So many ridiculous opinions that should have any reasonable boxing fan looking to give you the slap you deserve. Pathetic.
Joshua replied to Finkle's claims that the fight was worth 100 million.

Haymon is currently the main content provider for Showtime/CBS, and he's not stupid.
Eddie Hearn promised the world to get his deal with DAZN, has found very little of note to build a US roster on DAZN for. Without anything to pitch beyond Saunders-Andrade so far, he's in a tough spot. You add that Anthony Joshua still hasn't signed anything to fight Deontay Wilder, and Hearn is in an even tougher spot.
Deontay Wilder is already on a guaranteed $2m+ (plus whatever back-end money he gets), and his camp is currently finalizing a potential PPV fight with Tyson Fury; Wilder maybe squeezes in a fight for late September (getting his $2m+), but not sure if there's enough time left. You add in that DAZN literally has zero reach in the US and there's plenty of reason to leave that money on the table.the reach doesn’t matter. Doesn’t matter at all. He can take the 8 mil. Whyte is an easy fight for him. Then go for Joshua.
Even if he doesn’t get the Joshua fight he still made 8 mill. Beats 3 mil for Breazeale.
If he can get Fury that’s great but I have a feeling that is gonna fall apart.
I am sorry Hearn but it is not happening. Frank Warren and Tyson Fury beat you to the punch. No pun intended! So you can start cancelling of your plans for Wilder. :lol1:
If the IBF call for their mandatory so quickly and by the end of the year, Joshua can still fight Wilder in April. Nothing changes there. It won't get in the way.
If you say, so, lol
Whyte is world level. He's in the top 5 at Heavyweight. Who, apart from Joshua, has a better win than Whyte's over Parker?
And I don't think Whyte is elite. He's too sloppy for me to call him that. But he is a good world class fighter. You can't take that away from him.

You think Dillian would have got more from the TV rights even though Hearn lost the bid? Dilllian would have got the percentage and that's it. The winning bidder doesn't need to hand over more money because they sell it SKY sports. That money would have went into the winning bidder's pocket, Not Dillians. The Parker fight was a much better package. Dillian actually gets a big cut of the PPV.
Ortiz still turned the date down to fight Dillian.
And who cares that Ortiz got rid of that bum quicker than Parker? Joshua got rid of Molina much quicker than Wilder, but i'm sure you think Wilder wins the fight?
Epic Sports & Entertainment (or whatever the company looking to back Pulev is called) has no known ins to sell distribution of the fight to.
Sauerland Event has German TV that's exclusive to them, Matchroom Sport has UK TV that's exclusive to them, and both companies have relationships with outfits that could help procure TV in other markets.
Unless Epic wants to hump it for every TV deal, the path of least resistance would be to sell the UK rights to air the fight to Matchroom, sell the Germany rights to air the fight to Sauerland, sell the rest of the rights in packages for the other markets, and have them worry about how to market the fight in their countries while Epic pockets whatever they were able to get wholesale.
Eddie gets the rights for $300k (or whatever the number is), a Sky Sports date pays $500k (or whatever the number is), and Matchroom Sport just made $200k off of the TV; if Dillian Whyte doesn't get any of that, he's got a sorry deal
see your wrong again. If Haymon has the DAZN deal U would be arguing why he should fight on it.
There is no good reason to leave 5 million on the table. Whyte should be an easy opponent for him. He can take the money, it doesn’t take any of showtime’s budget and can come back on showtime 3 months later.
He would have to fight 3 times to see what he would get for Whyte.

Oh the Fury fight. Yeah, he'd earn a bit of money off Fury's name. But I have zero interest in that fight due to Fury's condition. Next year i'd be up for it after Fury has shed the weight and got a decent name on the record. But not right now. What if while you're waiting, Fury loses? It's almost like being robbed! At some point, some Top 5 guy is going to fight Fury. It would be better to fight him after he wins that fight, but you risk that he'll lose too!
Not that part. Whyte vs. Miller is better in the UK (but not by much). I'm talking about Whyte vs. Fury! You don't know why Whyte would want to fight Fury? BIG FIGHT!

Hearn nor Whyte would do the Miller fight in the US. It makes more in the UK. Plus it would bring a much bigger crowd then it would in the US.
I have no idea why Whyte is calling Fury out, the fight doesn't do much for him considering the shape Fury is in. He should be aiming much higher.Seriously, you have no idea? HINT: $$$$$
This what Whyte said today, about Fury vs.Wilder: "Fury-Whyte is a great fight, let’s get it done. It’s more realistic him fighting me. If he wants a real fight, we can get it on in December.”
So Whyte is not concerned with title shots, but he's concerned about "BIG" fights. What I would like to see from Hearn, is to convince Whyte that fighting Miller in Brooklyn will be just as "BIG" as fighting Manual Charr, or Parker. It's what the promoter is supposed to do! A Brooklyn Native fighting a Jamaican who lives in the UK? Maybe you don't know Brooklyn, but's that's SERIOUS BUSINESS!!!

Miller can't fight Whyte because Whyte's next fight should be a title shot.
Miller can fight Ortiz whenever he wants. I have no problem with that. But does Miller want the fight?
