A fighter with a better name and pedigree vs a local fighter for some BS title. You AJ fans are unbelievable with all these excuses and justifications.
The British title has a lot of history, so it isn't bull****.
But the point i'm making is that Joshua wasn't world level then so shouldn't have had to fight Ortiz. Saying he should have is preposterous. You're just trying to paint Joshua in a bad light because you have a serious bias. Nothing more, nothing less.
Joshua was supposed to fight Ortiz when he was fighting for the British title against Whyte? Are you being serious right now?
He had to fight Takam because he was the mandatory. The IBF would have stripped him had he not.
Yeah, you have nothing but lies and smears.

If they wanted to do it they would had done it and not fought Takam or Whyte.

Tell me the exact time Joshua could have fought Ortiz? Be specific. Not facing up to the truth is your problem, not mine.

Again, keep telling yourself that.
Like you said, give him sum bums to showcase him and keep him away from his other fighters. Of course Ortiz moved on, they only talked about AJ and Wilder vs other ppl so why stick around waiting.

Ortiz came to fight, and looked fit, slick and dangerous.
Parker fought like he'd spent his entire training camp sat on the sofa scratching his balls while watching TV. He was totally out of gas by round 6 or so and had no coherent gameplan. The Ortiz win was much better, both as a landmark win and as a spectacle.
Whyte better than wilder, yes.
A guy defeated by KO while the other is undefeated
Lol. Resume better, lol no
Wilder has a champion also in his resume keep trying dude
Hearn was trying to showcase Ortiz by giving him a couple of bums to make him look good, but he went and ****ed it up by looking like ****.
Joshua fought Wlad which was a much bigger fight that had the vacant WBA title attached so it can't have been then. He then had to defend against Takam because he was the IBF mandatory and the IBF said he had to fight him first otherwise we'll strip you. He then had a unification with Parker which was a much bigger fight. And now he's defending against Povetkin who is the mandatory again.
Ortiz had the chance to fight Joshua after the Takam fight because he could enforce the mandatory, but he instead went in Wilder's direction for much less money. He then has the thing with the drug testing so he's stripped of his ranking with all titles. So even if he hung around for Joshua, he still would have had that problem with getting stripped from the rankings. At no point could Joshua and Ortiz fight. Not with him failing the drug test, not with his mandatories, and not with unifications being the better fight. So sorry, you're talking rubbish.

Let that sink in... :lol1::lol1::boxing:
Wilder's best opponents were ranked #2 and #4 in the world when Wilder beat them.
Who has Whyte beaten that was ranked that high at the time?
The thing is though, the only frame of reference worth anything is Ortiz. He was getting badly outboxed by Ortiz for most of the fight and then turned it around with his power. So he gets credit for that, but there's a distinct lack of any other useful examples. How did he do against Wlad? Parker? Povetkin? Miller? Pulev? Whyte? He hasn't fought any of these guys. It's one thing to assume that he KO's most of them, but he should start actually proving it. He has literally the worst resume of any champion in the sport.Well he can change all of that. Just have Anthony Joshua to grow a pair of balls and accept that $50mil offer he requested then we can see just how good Deontay Wilder really is. He'll spark Anthony Joshua the fuck out and he knows it too as well as his team. That's why they are protecting him as he constantly avoids and ducks the "Bronze Bomber" Deontay Wilder.
Wilder's style is very difficult to defend against. No matter how well one boxes, jabs or how many rounds they win against Deontay, he still has that equalizer in his right hand. It's even worse if one were to engage in a firefight with him because currently there is no Heavyweight in the division that can match the "Bronze Bomber's" firepower.

When Hearn signed Ortiz and didn't get him any significant bout.

Then you'd have no problem in telling me the exact time when Joshua could have fought Ortiz?
Not answering the question does absolutely nothing for you. But then again, you don't know the answer which is why you avoided it.

There hasn't been a point when Joshua could have fought Ortiz. If so, tell me when?
Ortiz wanted Whyte at a later date. He said he wasn't ready for last night. He was for a bum, but not someone good. Whyte wasn't going to hang around when there was a bigger fight with a higher ranking in Parker.
Keep telling yourself that.
anyone aj fights is elevated to an elite fighter by his fans, they are down i get it but damn its annoying
Who's elevated? Parker and Whyte are good fighters but nothing more.
Take a look at how Americans try and claim Ortiz is some kind of beast when he's done absolutely nothing. Plus he's 49 (It was confirmed by a relative) and has high blood pressure. He nearly failed the medical before the Wilder fight. Not forgetting he only has 2 rounds of stamina.
Not a pretty picture is it? But try telling the deluded Americans that. And you're one of them.
That is why AJ and Whyte still avoid the old man.
