Haven't seen great clashes much this year but hands down I think this fight would top it up for the year.
Unless GGG-Canelo pulls up an action-hype drama fest.
What do you think?
I say no because I just don't see Povetkin having much of a chance. His style plays right into AJ hands. He is not that hard for Joshua to find plus he eats punches while Anthony does not. I would have liked his chances more six or maybe seven years ago but now at this age of 39, he is just a sitting duck for the counter punching of Anthony Joshua.
AJ is the Rigondeaux of the heavyweights. boring as hell zzzzzzz.
but if they allow Pedvetkin to inject his desired juices it'll be an even playing field since we all know AJ is juiced to the eyeballs.
I doubt it.
Usyk-Breidis
Gassiev-Dorticos
Rungvisai-Estrada
Hurd-Lara
Lomachenko-Linares
Saucedo-Zappavigna
Valdez-Quigg
Off the top of my head have been excellent. I doubt it's going to be better than more than one or two of those.
It could be. However it could very well play out the same way that Wlad-Povetkin did - with a ton of clinches. It's fashionable to blame Wlad for clinches since he does tie up his opponents a lot, but this one was mostly on Povetkin.
Wouldn't be surprised if it turns into a boring clinchfest where one guy may or may not land a good shot and put the other one on his ass.
No. I think it'll be all over before the half way point and won't really be competitive. It's not that Povetkin's a bad fighter, but this is a poor matchup for him.
