List 154 lb guys you think would beat Munguia

Maybe cuz the kid is only 21 yrs old. A baby still compared to most other champs I don't agree with that. His defense is poor. There are many many 21 year old fighters with much better defense than him.

The guy isn't really a junior middleweight, that should be clear. I think he just rolls over more or less anyone who actually belongs in the division like a sherman tank. The only guys I'd really give a chance of beating him are the other guys who are really too big for the weight, ie. Hurd and Charlo - only I think Munguia is more skilled than Hurd, so realistically just Charlo. Lara might also have a shot at outboxing him but it's just as likely that Munguia just Hulks his way past him like he did with Sadam Ali.

That Murtazaliev guy I saw once would beat him. That Vorobiev guy who beat Ponomarev would give him a good fight... Was a little bit out of the loop the last weekend's. Pono just lost against the 6-0 prospect? Is the fight worth watching? And is that guy a real talent?

Why are people saying he's going to develop defense. The guy has had 30 fights and he should be further along than he is. I don't see a big improvement in his future.

Munguia eats Lara's left all nightSlow, plodding Angulo had Lara down twice and Munguia is better than Angulo in every possible way. Molina held Lara to a draw and Munguia is also better than Molina. Lara would eat some Munguia lefts if they fought and Munguia throw twice as many punches a round.

Munguia is a champion and a damn good one in my opinion. He has speed, two handed power and a good variety of effective punches and combinations. He is a fearless, relentless attacker with a good chin and a high number of hard punches thrown every round. He is young and green and will improve rapidly because he is a dedicated boxer. I think he is good enough right now, just the way he is to beat every boxer on your list except Hurd. Hurd vs Munguia is an even fight in my opinion. Munguia won almost every round with Smith and Smith would beat many of the boxers on your list of Munguia beaters.

Maciej Sulecki at that weight beats him

He's not ready for those guys, he is a good fighter though. Realidtically speaking he is too green, needs more fights to prepare him for those kind of opponents.
