If top rank was doing a good job promoting its fighters how come fans care more about Errol spence than Terence Crawford.

If you look at the views for each fighters interview. More people were interested in Errol spence than Terence Crawford. Plus TC interview came out first.?

There's no guarantee my plumber fixes my next toilet. If I replace him with a new plumber, than he's no longer my plumber. A contract doesn't determine if someone is my plumber. Being the one I choose to handle my plumbing is what makes them my plumber.not if u had a contract. If u did then it would determine who is your plumber.
And there is no guarantee DiBella promotes his next fight.

None of which changes that Dibella is Wilder's promoter.
LeBron has done one season contracts before to maximize his leverage. Wilder does one fight contracts to maximize his leverage. And there is no guarantee DiBella promotes his next fight. He isn't his "promoter". He could be the promoter of his next fight but he may not be. We don't know yet. Just Like Hearn could promote Mikey Garcia's next fight even though Schaefer has been promoting his last few fights. Just like Haymon may not advise Mikey on his next fight since Mikey never signed a contract with him and just uses him on a fight by fight basis. He can change his mind at any time.
so Lebron shouldn’t sign a contract for the lakers. Just play some games for them so he has leverage and if they aren’t good after a couple months he can go somewhere else to work right ?

Don't need a contract with someone for them to do work for you or vice versa. Your position doesn't make any sense.so Lebron shouldn’t sign a contract for the lakers. If he doesn’t like what they are providing he can leave mid season.
Or a contractor not signing a contract. They can build half of a community and leave if they don’t like it.
There’s a reason in business and sports there are contracts.

FYI Two interesting things to note about PBC methods of creating stars is that it seems to consist reaching out to other outlets such as the breakfast club or a marlins game or even nascar to help its fighters gain publicity.
Second is that a report came out two years ago by a PBC staffer and he spoke about how fights that were the most viewed on (internet/social media) were the most action packed fights. It didn't matter about who was fighting as much.
This brings me to a interesting tidbit on Deontay wilders career. If you think about it People started to pay more attention to deontay wilder about the time that he knocked out stiverne. If you look up this fight it generated major views on youtube and SHOWTIME. I think PBC will start incorporating a lot of what they've learned as soon as they find a way to make their product more consistant

I can tell you one thing without one shadow of a doubt.....Bob Arum is a greedy scumbag but he has the best eye for talent that I have ever seen. The guy finds P4P talent like no other. :boxing:
I JUST DONT KNOW
Casual or Hardcore!
NSB posters are so funny, they never agree on shit.
and just a FYI, I knew about spence way before he sparred mayweather.
Lolol that’s boxing
He fought on one offs over and over. Lou isn’t his promoter. No contract.
Don't need a contract with someone for them to do work for you or vice versa. Your position doesn't make any sense.
Wilder didn't fight for Lou as a one off. Wilder has fought for Lou over and over and over. Haymon has different arrangements with different fighters and different promoters.
He fought on one offs over and over. Lou isn’t his promoter. No contract. Just like Top Rank isn’t Prograis promoter. They promoted one of his fight by stent his promoter. That’s why your plumber example was ridiculous
Just like if Mikey Garcia would have fought Linares as GBP offered a "one off". Using your criteria GBP would be his promoter because he used them.

Top Rank has gotten Loma into the consciousness of casual boxing fans
PBC has gotten Wilder into the consciousness of casual boxing fans
they about equal in success rate, off the top of me head
You just don't like the comparison because it shows how silly your criteria is. The doctor being your doctor is what makes him your doctor. Not the contract. Very common to have a contract with your roofer, but him working on your roof is what makes him your roofer, not the contract. Nope my criteria is perfect. Its like a football player. If he uses an agent for a contract it isn't his agent. It is just an agent he used on a one off and that is it. Now if he signs a contract with an agent then it is his promoter.
Just like if Mikey Garcia would have fought Linares as GBP offered a "one off". Using your criteria GBP would be his promoter because he used them. They really aren't his promoter. They would have just promoted one of his fights on a one off situation and as he says "doesn't have a promoter". Ringstar has done his most recent fights but Schaefer isn't his promoter. Mikey says it himself. Even Wilder says he doesn't have a promoter so there you go
We can talk about doctors. We can talk about contracts. The real issue here is Marketing and Spin-Doctoring. I heard a rumor that the PBC has a hired one in these parts lingering around. Now I got nothing against the PBC myself, but it makes me wonder why they have to pay someone to show them in a good light? Nasty ole Bob Arum doesn't do it. Slimy Eddie Hearn doesn't do it. Peeps in the know can see through their BS. Why does the PBC require it I wonder? Now these are not questions for anyone. I am just throwing my thoughts out there in the wild for no particular reason.
