AJ decided against fighting Wilder making 50 million (Hearn confirmed it), to fight Povetkin.......*check out other screen names recent posts (concerning GGG, accepting flat fees) you'll get a laugh, when you read their new positions):hail:
And AJ is only a draw on that little island, we saw his numbers on his Parker fight:ghost: Then check out Wilder's #'s and compare :boxing:
--- dear Deyonce makes peanuts on the dollar compared to Josh.
His thug gang couldn't raise the money, so Josh fights the guy dearest Deyonce ducked for guaranteed big bucks.
Josh make Mo' $ endorsing underwear than TBA Deyonce commands in purses... Only in boxing!!!
l...not to mention a shot at multiple titles because of the date?
--- Fat Lar who was still skinny was the A side turning down a record $8 mil purse and title unification in SAfrica against Gerrie Coetzee...only in boxing during fat Lars single belt reign...
Pac fight was 2015, GGG fight was 2017, according to your info it says you werent on this site during this time.............So what was your alt name? LMAO....This way we can check the validity of your argument......:boxing:
I was here lurking weeks, months leading the Cnelo/GGG fight.
You don't have to check doe. I'll just tell you straight out.
I didn't have any comment. $20 mil is too big to be believed.
It's never been confirmed. It was fake and you clowns fell for it and now eating crow for going against it when your idol is on the line.
Yeah I remember clearly you were insulting Pacquaio and GGG
for not accepting the flat fee offer.
Now you're going crazy against Wilder accepting it.
It's distasteful.

i thought he turned down 15 mil because he didnt get a rematch clause, but realistically b sides dont get rematch clauses, i think him and his team are just butt sore after their mission impossible offer disintegrated after 24 hrs
if a rematch clause for wilder is going to be a deal breaker then hearn will just go on milking joshua, mooooo
I don't even get the rematch crap when he's been saying he will surely beat Joshua.
It's also the first time a B side demanded a rematch clause.
This guy needs a good negotiator.

Doe, Wilder and team were holding a contract for weeks.
No matter how you slice and dice it, Wilder had complete control whether the fight happens or not.
Look at the title. What's the answer?
First time a B side turned down a shot at 4 belts plus $15 mil,
because of a stupid date which could have been easily sorted out in minutes!
Instead, he just let the contract rot for weeks.
This guy wanted none of the fight.
Maybe Khan because of religious holidays, but that's it. Can't think of any other fighter who turned down career high paydays using the date as the excuse.

Wilder turning down $15 million for a fight his right hand can win + he can get more in a rematch, all because his listening to the internet boxing community.
True. He started off yelling he can beat Joshua and wants his belts. Overtime, his confidence waned and uncertainty started to creep in. Therefore, he must squeeze every penny he can get from the fight as if it's his last fight. Meaning, the fight has become very difficult to make. He said no to every offer Hearn gave him.

GGG was supposed to quit begging and be happy with the 35% Oscar was willing to give him for the rematch. He demanded more and he got 45% instead which is many millions more. Not the same case.
GGG already fought Canelo once and many said he won the fight. Not to mention Alvarez getting caught in a web of peds accusations, which supposedly decreased his stock. So Golovkin had every right to demand more than he got from the first fight. Problem was Canelo probably wanted none of the rematch or any part of GGG any further. They could have moved on and make more money without GGG. So demanding 50/50 was basically stupid for an opponent who wasn't really that interested.
What boxer made before a huge fight means nothing. What means something is he is half of that huge fight and deserves to be paid many times what he ever made before. If the huge fight doesn't happen the B side loses out on a career high payday but so does the A side. Both sides need to take somewhat less than they think they deserve or often no deal is reached and the big fight never happens.
That should only apply in cases where one fighter is feared or avoided. In which case the feared one should be willing to take less to make fights happen for him. GGG vs Jacobs took about a year to make and Jacobs got what he wanted because GGG made some adjustments.
No one avoids or fears Wilder or Joshua, so far as I know.
Also no one knows how huge this fight will be. It's subjective.
Is he really welling to take less than $50M when they offer a flat rate? They could've offered Wilder a guarantee of $15 with an upside like Wilder team offered
I hope you are not that gullible it's always about the money
It wasn't always about the money when Tyson, DLH, Pac, May, were B sides.
Take less than $50 mil, if it wasn't obvious to you.
So you admit it wasn't really about the titles for Wilder, it's about the money.
Case close.

If you mean turning down Mayweather's insulting offer of 40 a million flat fee Pac turned it down. He ended up making many times more than 40 million for the same fight and those who said he ducked Mayweather by not taking that offer looked like fools. We rarely agree on much but you nailed this.
And incidently, Pac wasn't a duck for turning down the 40 million, but he could have been seen as avoiding things when no counter offer was given. But, I wont argue that because it can be interpreted other ways.
Folks just want to ignore that 50 million was far and away Joshua's biggest payday- and if you believe Frank Warren, it was 80 million.
If he was ready to take less than they would've offered a split and would've had the 1st undisputed HW title fight in UK history
He wanted Wilder to take less hence the flat offer
AJ was ready to take less when the initial offer was $12.5 :lol1:

Well really you dont know much and your posts will show that like this one bc you go by what a fighter has made .
In Wilders case its a 2.1 highest pay turning down what would take him about FOUR years of 15 Million to make which is OVER 7 x his highest pay bc he averages 1.4 Million a fight.
Meanwhile in REALITY Joshua can make almost 50 Million in TWO fights yet you want to TRY and debate me on whos walking away from a high payday ?:trink26:
You don't know that's his highest purse stop regurgitating what Eddie says
You see him having hard time signing top names to Matchroom usa and getting shown up publicly by Broner
his numbers are wrong obviously
