So I was watching this press conference, the poll appeared @ 29:10. At first Canelo got 9 out of 10 votes, but then started gradually falling. At the end he got only 6% (six percent) of votes of him to win.
And suddenly @ 33:15 the poll result disappears for 20 seconds and reappears with the result "48% to 52%" :fingersx: Presenter never mentions the result and it never appears again.

Is there someone who wants to tell me that was a technical issue?
They hide the result, turn off auto-updates, type static 48-52 and show it on screen again. I mean, I didn't find the result on their facebook page, they could remove the poll the same moment they saw that huge inequality.
I would not be surprised either, but there are facebook comments, I read them for a minute and most of them were not satisfied with the previous fight outcome. I don't really know what type of people are there on facebook.

most of them are pro 3g too.
I wouldn't put anything like that past any promoter really...and that's what these types of things are used for, promotion. in any case 94-6 is way out of wack imo.
If they had 100 votes and 94 people voted for GGG, they could notify 200 people or so to vote for clenela. I don't think the polls track people who vote meaning you don't even have to have a fakebook account to cast a vote....you could be an internet stalker and cast your vote 1,000 times if you wanted to.
Don't use fakebook, it's a joke. :boxing:
Nope, not in this case. GB didn't expect such dispersion, and I don't believe they had prepared `bots` to gain the required result. Anyway, where is the actual poll on GBP fb page, did they remove it?
The obvious manipulation would be to just type in the result they will be ok with while it is off screen. And this is most likely what they did.
no idea...I don't use it either, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was some type of technical issue. these things aren't bulletproof, and if it's just a facebook poll that updates automatically, then how is gbp manipulating it?

So you inclined to think that it was tech issue? How polls on Facebook work? Was it comments parsing or was it std poll with two items to choose, what are your thoughts? I don't use facebook at all.

I noticed this too. I laughed how one sided it became then all of sudden it goes off and comes back on at almost even.
It may only be a silly Facebook poll but it does show you GBP like to rig results... Wonder where I've seen that before?!

Well, they paid off the judges so why wouldn't they fix a poll? The media does it all the time with political polls, it's a proven liberal tactic to dissuade voters....similar to voter intimidation, only passive.
might have something to do with how the poll was being updated. it's close to a 50-50 fight...94% picking ggg doesn't seem right.

Boxing fans should. If a promotional company is gonna manipulate a fan poll that has zero bearing on anything, why wouldn't they buy judges and have fixed scorecards? There's at least something to gain from that.
Yeah, GBP trying to manipulate the public, but booing after the first fight, this poll, etc. should rise questions in the heads.
Something for the betting agencies perhaps?
May be, but what it changes for bookies? Everyone knows Canelo will have judge on his side if needed, so the bookies too.
96% GGG wins to 6% Canelo wins sounds accurate and correct to me.
use facebook video or my image as a refernce, and where did you find 96? I had a typo 4% in the text, not 96 or 6 lol
Lol .. I didn't see it live, but if that's what happened, I would say that GBP manipulated the poll result because they didn't want viewers to get the idea the fight was going to be some kind of mismatch.
96% picking GGG to win does seem very extreme though!
94 though, yeah pretty much unexpected.
That's the most obvious reason, to avoid the shame in front of his public. You can read the comments on Facebook, they all hate the draw, so such result is very much possible.
who cares??
