I'd be LMAO if Deontay would still want a big paycheck with Joshua,
and not with Povetkin.
AJ would surely want a rematch with Alexander.
What would happen with Wilder then?
It would take at least a year to see AJ makes a comeback victory with Pov, if ever.
Where will Deontay even make $3 mil with?
That would be the best possible scenario ever because if Povetkin wins then he will fight Wilder in a heartbeat because he wants to become boxing's undisputed Heavyweight champion of the world. AJ fans keep trying to make this all about money but it's more than that. It's about legacy, honor, dignity, prestige, pride and patriotism. Once history records his career he wants to go down as one the best to ever do it because once the money is removed, the legacy remains.
AJ would make at least another $30 mil minimum in the Pov fight, win or lose.
Deontay would be lucky to make $2 mil in the Breazeale fight.
Bottom line is AJ would be better off financially 20x over compared to the undeserving Klitsch ducker.
Seems to me gaining titles is no longer relevant in these forums.
So let's just talk about fighters' worth in $$$$$.
This is what interests fans nowadays, first and foremost.
Fk titles.
Anthony Joshua's biggest disclosed payday was the £15m that he got for the Klitschko fight ($21m).
Why feel the need to lie? lol.
You have that completely BACKWARDS but....OK?:dunno:
When Wilder refuses to fight unless he gets a **** ton of money, then yes, he's desperate for money.
Are you telling me Wilder only cares about the titles and becoming undisputed? If that was the case Wilder wouldn't be causing even more problems by asking for a ridiculous split.
Wilder goes on about how he's not being offered his worth, when that couldn't be any further from the truth. If he was offered his worth, he would get no more than 4 mill.
Losing to Povetkin does severe damage to Joshua's reputation. From Wilder's POV it's probably great because if he does decide to negotiate he can say he's the A-side and demand everything that Joshua's demanding right now.
That's just speculation though. In the real world Joshua will beat Povetkin with relative ease.
Fight will be in Moscow doe.
And Povetkin's promoter/backer is swimming in a pool lots of $$$$$$$$$$.
Pov is mad as hell at Wilder and his team for leaving Russia in haste when they're supposed to wait for the completed ped tests.
Pov as A side will be a nightmare to deal with.
He won't be needing the undeserving Klitsch ducker because he'll have more belts strapped around his waist when he beats AJ.
Man he turned around and failed again a few months later, how the hell are you blaming Wilder?
No, he would hold out for even more. Just like he is doing. You don't ask for more money and keep the fight from happening unless you're desperate.
You have that completely BACKWARDS but....OK?:dunno:
Fury had to because only two out of the four belts Wlad held were at stake the WBA and the WBO. The IBO and IBF were not at stake. That's why Klitschko put a rematch clause in the contract because the defense of those latter two titles were voluntary.
First of all, the IBO isn't a world title and nobody cares about it other than AJ fans who suddenly decided it was a world title because he won it.
Second of all, that isn't how mandatories work for unified champions. Fury was under no obligation to agree to a rematch clause in order to fight for the IBF title and even worse, Klitschko hid the rematch clause from the IBF because the IBF wouldn't have sanctioned the fight if they knew there was a rematch clause.
The only raeason Pulevs backers could offer a purse over the odds was the 75:25 split in his favour which is why the foght couldn't get made. Any mandatory defence would the same for Joshua so Epic won't be hosting it in Bulgaria.
Anthony Joshua beating Deontay Wilder, to finally unify the heavyweight championship for the first time in 20 years, in a fight between the two best heavyweights on the planet, on boxing's biggest stage, will officially launch Anthony Joshua as a superstar in the United States.
Nobody even knows who Wilder is. How the hell are you going to be a superstar if you're beating someone who isn't even a star in his own country?
Are you telling me American fans are going to do PPV on Joshua fights against the others in the division? I can't see it myself. And even if Joshua's fights become PPV after Wilder, the buys will be very low.
And you think Joshua will get there with the Wilder fight? Hahahahahahahahahaha.
No. He. Won't.

If he was "DESPERATE FOR MONEY" he would sign the deal right? :dunno:
No, he would hold out for even more. Just like he is doing. You don't ask for more money and keep the fight from happening unless you're desperate.
Would be interesting to see in that instance if Povetkin made the mistake of selling a rematch clause like Fury did.
Fury had to because only two out of the four belts Wlad held were at stake the WBA and the WBO. The IBO and IBF were not at stake. That's why Klitschko put a rematch clause in the contract because the defense of those latter two titles were voluntary.
So it's probably more likely than not that since only AJ's WBA title is at stake and the other three are voluntary defenses, therefore there will be a rematch clause. Unless there is a stipulation in the contract stating that he is only defending the mandatory WBA title.
why do so many new fans give a **** about purses and money?
I want to see the guys fight in the ring for the title of the world, not fight on social media for the bigger percentage of the purse.
Exactly. These fake fans of Wilder are more interested in seeing him get his retirement fund than becoming queen of the division.
He will still make the money because Wilder is going to make the same offer to Povetkin that he made to Joshua and let's see will Povetkin turn that same $50 Mil guarantee he offered to AJ down? It's highly unlikely he will. So Deontay would get everything he wants, the 50/50 purse split, $50 Million guarantee plus an upside of the gate and Pay per view, a two fight deal and a chance to select the venue, date and some of the Las Vegas officials for the bout . So the best thing that could happen for Deontay Wilder is for AJ to lose but most of all he would become boxing's undisputed heavyweight champion.

But he loses to every top name he must be the highest paid stepping stone
He still fights the top names though whether he wins or loses. Wilder just fights trash.

Well he proves you wrong every day typing his social media non-sense ... Joshua is in his head.... for good...
NOPE! Desperation would be signing a deal without a Date and a one sides rematch clause just for the money.
Joshua not in his head because Joshua hasn't said anything, Eddie doing all his talking FOR HIM! Wanting to Knock Him Out comes with the Territory they're both Heavyweights that how they're suppose to feel about each other
