WBA : wilder has taken too long. Fight must be signed with povetkin or aj stirpped

I haven’t seen this either. I’ve seen most Joshua fans are disappointed that Wilder is declining the fight despite boasts previously that he’d fight for free. Surely the two “minor points” aren’t worth losing $15-20m over? Wilder fans seem happy the fights not happening next though because it gives them more time to claim Wilder is being avoided by refusing the fight. Wilder fans are dumb but the moment he loses they will go away and move onto someone else. I say this as someone who doesn’t particularly like Joshua. I don’t dislike him I’m just neutral on him. Wilder fans would rather want Joshua to be scared than to see the actual fight. Sums them up

These dudes send a contract with no venue or date knowing it was not going to fly with Wilders camp. This was all in Hearns plan, they never did this when Ortiz was the mandatory.

Probably put pressure on the WBA to order the mandatory ASAP. But they could just extend the deadline until Friday or whenever. They won't be the reason the Wilder/Joshua doesn't take place.

this is proof that sanctioning bodies and promoters are destructive to the sport of boxing, the WBA has not ordered Thurman to fight anyone and its been damn near 2 years, but in this situation all of a sudden they "step in"??????? but couldn't extend 3 or 4 days to allow it to get done?? right after wilder wilder says they will have the contract (that hearn sent later than expected) sent back by Friday, the WBA jumps in and says 24 hours????? come on guys, its pretty obvious whats happening here. im sure aj fans will run with it. but once again real boxing fans lose.

SMH, What happened? I thought Wilder agreed to fight in the UK, the contract, etc... This is getting frustrating with these two teams going back and forth. When it seems like one thing is agreed then something else comes up. SMDH

... this is of "common knowledge"... but it happened back in 2013... And Povetkin's best wins have all happened since then. Sure, he got rocked by Price, and would probably have gone down if not for the ropes. But Price packs a hell of a punch, and Povetkin recovered well .. just like he did after getting floored by Wlad. He didn't look shot to me.

Povetkin is levels above Breazeale. The only fight he has ever lost was against prime Wlad Klitschko. ... this is of "common knowledge"... but it happened back in 2013...

From missing meetings to taking a month to respond to now “oh we’ll sign it in x time” sure doesn’t add up especially when Wilder said he’d fight “Joshua in England for free”. It’s just completely baffling as to how that could ALL be Hearns and Joshua’s fault. Wilder probably wants the fight but unless he signs the contract he doesn’t want it now. Maybe he wanted to appear like he was being ducked by the consensus #1 and draw and gain more gullible fans to increase his purses for his favorite type of fights - bums.

Come on man Wilders team said if everything was legit they’d have it signed by Friday. Your telling me Hearn couldn’t persuade the WBA to extend the deadline for 4 days.
