Eddie's supposed to be working FOR AJ. No he's not. Eddie is a promoter. He has no fiduciary duty to AJ. AJ works for Eddie. I know Eddie has tricked AJ fans into thinking it's the other way around, but legally speaking, Eddie has no obligation to protect AJ and Eddie doesn't work for AJ. Eddie hires AJ to fight for him.

Eddie's supposed to be working FOR AJ. That DAZN deal, was supposed to be exclusive of AJ, yet Hearn makes the guy turn down a career purse because of it. I can't be the only one who sees this s#it, if you guys are right, and DAZN is the reason Eddie's stalling this out.

That's fair, but at this point, what fight is more meaningful for either guy? Or if this isn't a particularly good fight, what other heavyweight makes it a good fight? The division hasn't been very interesting for a long time...just the klitschkos dominating c level opponents. So when a few guys emerge that appear to be above the rest, I guess it's something to be kind of excited about I suppose. Unless fury can get back in shape, this is pretty much the end of any decent match ups in the hw division for the time being. So I guess we better hope it isn't a blow out for either guy so we can at least get a rematch.

No, trust me I think it should be on SHO or SHO PPV. But Hearn needs a big time fight on DAZN. They are paying him $125 million per year, he better attract hundred of thousands boxing subscribers. I actually got into a disagreement with another poster, on another thread. My stance was yours; it'd be stupid to put the fight on DAZN, instead of Showtime this year. I even disagree with you about next year though. Hardcore fans will purchase the fight regardless, but I just don't see casuals downloading an app, and paying $20 to stream a ppv boxing match. Even next year, I don't see DAZN being popular, and I think it'd be a big mistake to put it anywhere but Showtime or HBO, even though I understand why Hearn would want it for DAZN No, trust me I think it should be on SHO or SHO PPV. Hearn has a cult following amongst his own countrymen....But also has those that hate his guts. He's a very good promoter doing what he has to do. Great salesman, but just read the tea leaves.
