Hi
I wonder if anyone can help please? I am thinking of attending the GGG Alvarez rematch in September at the T-Mobile arena.
I have a number of questions which if anyone can help with would be greatly appreciated.
1. What is the best source of tickets for the fight. I have tried various sites and the best seems to viagogo. they are charging £942 + £243 for an unspecified seat in section12. I read that it could be worth buying a cheaper ticket and then hope to get an upgrade on the night. If I did this and didn't get the upgrade would I be able to purchase an upgrade? Or is it better to buy the seat up front?
2. Is it free to attend the weigh in and post fight press conferences?
3. Are the after parties open to the general public?
4. Would there be a chance to meet and possibly get photos with the fighters if I am in Vegas from the Friday am to Monday am outside of these events.
Thank you for your time
Prepare to be robbed because the prices in Vegas are disgusting. Only the well off can afford to watch boxing in Vegas and that's a shame. If you can get tickets you will enjoy it because Vegas is a great place and the weigh ins are free. Another option is to watch it on closed circuit which a couple of casinos usually offer. This costs around $90 each and the atmosphere is good.
For as big a fight as GGG-Canelo you won’t really get upgrades you’ll just have to buy the tickets through Ticketmaster, AXS or Stub Hub.
All kinds of fighters will be at the fight, the weigh-in and around the lobby and bars and are very approachable and happy to talk to fans. The main event fighters though for this fight you will not be able to meet most likely. They will be in and out for the weigh-in and the chances of meeting them fight day very low understandably. Perhaps if you are in town a few days earlier for the public workout sessions etc;
Weigh-ins are free
After party will be a small cover but not even sure the fighters themself would be there. I wouldn’t recommend using your night on this. You are in Vegas.

the times i have been i have gotten my tix either through a connection for free...or through the promotional companies ticket presale(usually its been top rank)
weigh ins always free and thats a great place to meet fighters(and get pics) and other boxing personalities....in the arena lobby or the wing leading to it(i havent been to t-mobile so i dont know how its set up) but thats how it always was at the grand garden arena.....need to have credentials to get into the post fight presser
when you say after parties you need to be more specific? ive been to pac fights out there where he had his own after party (which he was supposed to sing at)....i think they sold tickets....they werent that expensive maybe like 30-40 bucks or so and thats when he was red hot....
you could meet a fighter, celebrity or boxing personality almost anywhere on the strip if timing happens to be on your side...i saw ricky hatton at NY, NY at about 3 am in the morning the night after he was laid out by pac.....
Hi there. I went to the 1st figth, for tickets you better try to get some in the goldenboy presale. I think is comming up soon. I got mine in the presale for $1000 us in section 120. For the weigth in is free or if u paid for any extra figth on friday in the mgn u can get VIP for the weigth in. I did that. And for after party canelo love going in mandala bay. And ggg mgm or cosmos. There is a lot to do in figth week in vegas. The best way to get a photo is when they arrive on tuesday at the grand mgm. And no a chance for a press conference. Is closed to the public. I hope this help u. If u a big fan you will love figth week in Vegas.
