But quick main points...
Looks like Loma will stay at 135lb for a while, as he mentioned that you already saw how much bigger Linares was at 135lb, and Loma only re-hydrated ~4lbs. He is already challenging himself by fighting at 135lb, he could go lower. But it appears that he is not ruling out 140lb, but looks like way down the road where age will just force him to gain weight.
He want's a warm up fight after his shoulder heals in Beltran...interviewer tells him a champion is not exactly a warm up fight, to which Loma essentially says "there are levels to this"...meaning he does not view Beltran as an elite fighter.
In regards to PPV, he says that he is very skeptical of any Americans wanting to actually pay to see him fight. He mentioned that at his fights in the states its mostly the Ukrainian diaspora that come out to see him, so he doesn't see PPV as a feasible option.
Typical Loma it seems....very confident but still humble. Believes in his ability but realizes there are limits to everything.
In other words he wants nthing to do with a Manny fight; has Loma lost some of his juice and confidence tasting canvas.....
135 has, so far as I know, the weight that has always been discussed for the fight. Manny originally said that 135 would not be a problem, recently though he said it would be pushing him to his limits to make that weight..guessing that means they would bargain for a catchweight.
In other words he wants nthing to do with a Manny fight; has Loma lost some of his juice and confidence tasting canvas.....Countless fighters have been dropped, including Mikey Garcia and just about every champion and great fighter ever but it doesnt phase their confidence and didnt Lom who fought with a bad arm and still went on to stop Linares. If anything it gave him confidence overcoming two things in the fight. And Lom tops out at 135.
