Why are Ricky Burns and Marco Huck still fighting?

In 2015 Ricky Burns won a vacant title over Josh King. Who has a whopping two stars on Boxrec. He lost it to Indongo, who in turn got a fight with Crawford for it. And all Bud's fans will tell you, Indongo wasn't some journeyman, he was a champion. Right now Kiryl Relikh and Maurice Hooker have belts at 140 and the IBF belt is still vacant. Ricky Burns still has a very real chance of capturing another world title. All the good fighters at 140 move up to ww. They have for as long as I can remember. There are what, 16 different divisions now? And all of them have four world titles? When there are that many divisions and each division has up to 4 world champions, guys like Ricky Burns can win world titles.

Why are you still working? Boxing isn't an eccentric hobby for these guys.

Let's also add Antonio Tarver, Sam Solomon, Salido, Anthony Mudane, and Robert Byrd Wait, Tarver? We heard about him in my history class way back when teacher was teaching us about the ancient times, is he still fighting?

Why should they give it up? Because they aren't great champions? They make their living boxing. They are still main event boxers who can beat most boxers their weight and they still make good money.Maybe they want to add to their retirement fund while they still can. Probably nothing they can do after boxing pays them as well as the money they still make every fight. There are hundreds or probably thousands of boxers still fighting who are not as good or make as much money per fight as they do.
