He’s a monster. Anyone with that kind of power and toughness at that weight is going to have a chance at world level. Considering his limitations, Froch made an exceptional career at world level out of exactly that, so no reason why Ritson can’t. Love the way he just laughs at the other guy when he gets tagged. Can see Easter Jnr. running from that fight like a little b***h in 18 months or so.
I agree. Also, people who have sparred with him say he has more to his game than just power.
Besides, i made the point the other day that plenty of solid world champions look somewhat "limited". You wouldn't say Sor Rungvisai is some fleet footed beautiful boxer, yet he beat the guy considered p4p no.1 and just had another excellent win. Not comparing him to that of course, just making a point.
If you A game is excellent, it doesn't really matter if you're not a super versatile fighter. That's why styles make fights. Almost every fighter has limitations in one way or another, just some look more pleasing to the eye.

heres how his career goes over the next couple of years imo
Burns KO 1
Crolla TKO 3
Edis Tatli KO 2
Luke Campbell TKO 5
loss to Richard Commey via 4th round KO in a war of the ages where each man hits the deck 3 times!
hth
What is with the Euro level bit? GGG, Ursk, Beterbiev, Loma, Bivol and AJ are great champions who live in Europe just to name a few.
And they're all world level, bruh....
Who knows.
I'd say if you're making very light work of decent solid British title level fighters, you are probably on course for world level. Even if you think of some previous British title holders that went onto world level, you never really see anyone doing it with such ease at that level.
Still has a lot of learning to do. I still think he's about 5 fights away from fighting at real world level. By early next year, it'd be good to see him fight someone like Barroso or an ex champ like Pedraza.
Right now, i'd match him with some fighters that are hard to stop and that can give him movement and rounds.
Hearn talking about Ismael Barroso next. Sign me up for that, ****ing war.
Bombs away!
Ritson will need to learn to keep his chin down when trading to get to world level.
My favourite fighter to watch at the moment though. He's hard as nails!
He's already Euro/ B level; obviously we can't know where his ceiling is but he might well get to A-minus level, so wouldn't be surprised if he wins a world title if he improves technically.
He'll need to hone his skills to compete at the world level consistently. But he's only 16 fights in so he has a lot to learn still. Anyone with that kind of power can compete at most levels, and also he's actually got more than just a punch.
I know it's a cliche , but he fights like a mini golovkin.
