Who wins? Think Canelo wins by decision. If GGG fights anything like the first time he won't win. Needs to take chances like Marquez did against Pacquiao in their fourth fight.
GGG is going to shut Canelo down once and for all. He knew he could go to the body in the first fight but lost the decision with the head hunting tactic. This time i thing he will go to the bidy much more and break canelo down through the middle rounds and get the KO in the tenth or eleventh. Canelo will gas out as hes known to do in the past and that is his achilles heal.
I've been a Golovkin fan for years. But I don't understand what makes some people say "this time he's going to beat Canelo decisively."
What exactly is Golovkin gonna do differently this time?? Get mad??? Be more intense?? Try harder???
Boxing is skills vs. skills.
Canelo is in his prime and improving, while Golovkin will be 36 1/2. When is the last time you saw a guy over age 35 look good when his style is to eat punches in order to land punches?
I envision only two scenarios:
1) A repeat of the first fight. Close, but who knows what the judges will say.
2) Canelo wins a clear (though competitive) decision. The punch stats tell the story, too: Golovkin got old.
People who think Golovkin is suddenly going to get way better at age 36 should be watching World Cup players pretending they got injured. Not boxing.
I think Golovkin stops him. I see Golovkin applying pressure from the get go, short punches combinations, taking chances, getting out boxed early, but breaking Canelo down.
ggg wins but canelo is backed by some top people. am I the only one who really doesn't want to see a second fight between these 2?
No you are not the only one that doesn’t wanna see part 2. I feel the first fight was won by 3G, without even throwing to the body, but hey.... think about this.. Canelo is basically going into this fight naked. Whether he admits using PEDS or not, he knows they were in his system. He knows his camp more than likely was doing what they thought they needed to in order to get an early advantage. So this time around, without being able to cycle or not, psychologically he is at a disadvantage, either way. Most especially if he has been on gear in the past and only got a draw. Now his biggest test from his career is coming and he has no advantages, obviously aside from the judges and possibly the ref, depending on who it is. Just a thought... just like Canelo May Be thinking.
This will turn out just like the Ward-Kovalev series. Canelo will win fight 2 with authority.how? the fighters are nothing alike lol you talking out your ass. you wish to see this happen
Get caught cheating, reschedule the fight 6 months later lol. Boxing is a joke
Canelo will be on that Pacquiao of course and im picking him to win because of it.
Before the steroid thing I’d a said Canelo all the way but now he’s been popped. It’s a toss up. Yes, I think Canelo’s dirty. If Canelo comes in looking physically like he did the first time. He wins. If he looks soft. He probably looses. He still the young lion, which is a big deal with GGG old age.
ggg wins but canelo is backed by some top people. am I the only one who really doesn't want to see a second fight between these 2?I am very glad the rematch is happening. I think they are the two best middleweights in the world and I thought the first fight was a good fight. I expect the rematch to be better with both men trying harder to get a convincing win. I thought GGG won the first fight and I want him to get the win officially this time. If Canelo can really beat him this time then good for Canelo and his bright future.
Who wins? Think Canelo wins by decision. If GGG fights anything like the first time he won't win. Needs to take chances like Marquez did against Pacquiao in their fourth fight.GGG won the first fight in the opinion of about 90% of neutral views. That's why the betting establishments have him a 9 to 5 favorite to win the rematch. He can beat Canelo exactly the same way he beat him before but had to settle for a bogus draw. He was the attacker and he threw more punches and landed more punches in most rounds. He can win even bigger if he attacks even harder, throws even more punches and goes to the body more. Canelo has a stamina problem and GGG has much better stamina in spite of being 9 years older.
3 rounds guarantees a draw 4 a win. are you dim?
and thats not even being dramatic, he won 0 rounds against mayweather and got a draw on 1 scorecard.
Don't forget the scorecard of 11-1 against Cotto or the 10-2 for Trout. I also think he got a 9-3 scorecard for Lara. I thought he won all those fights outside of the Lara fight being 50/50. But those card weren't even hiding the fact that they were paid off.
i want GGG to win, i am not sure if he will. The Vanes fight isn't fooling me too much because it was only 2 rounds and i am just curious how old GGG would look if fight goes 6+ rounds, i think that's where we will start noticing the difference.
Canelo is only going to get better GGG is on the decline father time is knocking at his door and Abel Sanchez knows it i see canelo making small adjustments and winning a close but clear decision 116 112
ggg wins but canelo is backed by some top people. am I the only one who really doesn't want to see a second fight between these 2?
I was much more interested in GGG-Saunders and Canelo-Jacobs.
