[Boxing News] IBF ordered Derevyachenko-Jacob and WBA ordered Ryota Murata-Rob Brant

Boxrec ranks Brant as the 44th best middleweight in the world but the WBA has him ranked number 1. Somebody is wrong.I am guessing it's the WBA.

Rob Brant is the WBA number 1 contender and I never even heard of him before. I have to research him to see if he is any good. Jacobs should soon be a world champion again by beating the 12 fight wonder. How many fans will think of him as the true middleweight champion?

We'll get to see if Dervyanchenko is worth hyping up if he beats Jacobs. On the other hand Jacobs will be a bigger commodity and a more attractive opponent for big fights if he wins that belt - this actually feels like the work of Hearn. Interesting that Murata is going to be kept busy as well, it's like all of Golovkin's options that aren't Canelo or Charlo are getting deliberately cut off.

I'm glad the WBC has eliminators for this reason. I don't understand what Rob Brant has done to deserve a shot at the 'Regular' WBA middleweight title ; I think even a Demetrius Andrade is more deserving. I got no issue with the IBF, the title is vacant 'Lil-G' ducked Derevhwjkjaigihy and Jacobs is top five. Yeah Brant vs Andrade for final eliminator would've been nice. I think Bob "Jew Scum" Arum has something got to do with it. All eyes on Jacobs to see whether he accept the fight against Derevhwjkjaigihy or wait for WBA to order Lil-G vs Jacobs 2 .

Another meaningless fight next for Murata then. Brant gets a mandatory shot based on beating a 12-11 guy? He's the next best guy in the ranking after Jacobs and Canelo.

Basically said they'd only take it if they couldn't get Canelo. I think Rozier ain't particularly keen on the idea of his two top guys duking it out, but he gets the realities of the situation. He's been with Danny from the start I think so it ain't like Sergei or anyone else would question his loyalty for asking Sergei to train with someone else for this one. Yeah its always tough when this happens, i know it would a difficult one to do as a trainer. Even if he went with Jacobs how would he feel standing across the ring from Dervy? Unless he trains them both for the fight and then leave them to it. But i doubt would be allowed to happen by anyone that manages either one of those boxers.

Finally a good fight worth watching at MW, I got Jacobs, don't see the Derev hype to be honest. Now we need BJS, Charlo and GGG to get off their asses and Canelo to get the PEDs out of his system.
