How Many Fans Subscribed To ESPN+ For Crawford vs Horn?

And this is exactly my point when it concerns this App. Casual sports fans aren't going out of their way to get an App that's separate to the Network they already pay through their cable sub. Also adding, for Terence Crawford to be rated by most as #1 P4P it's such a step backwards putting him on an App that's literally in its infancy stage. I'm a die-hard fan and get ESpN+ free as part of my cable plan but didn't watch the live show. Knew I could watch it the next day anyways. Ironic but I watch the ESPN shows live on cable but was unhappy that this wasn't aired on tv. It's great that you get ESPN+ included in your cable package, but haven't you heard? Nothing is free, my friend.

If you're talking about the Crawford - Horn fight and the Mares - Santa Cruz fight, you're wrong. Both of those were on BELL basic cable tv. I watched from 7:30 pm til the very end of the cards. I was switching channels between the end of the Charlo-Trout fight and the Crawford-Horn fight because those fights were happening at the same time. I have all those fights recorded on my pvr. Damn, I'm glad I didn't have to stream those fights! :FlagCanad No I was saying ESPN+ isn’t in Canada haha. I found a good deed though. Nothing crashed

Am I the only one who watched it on TV ???!!! Last Saturday night was one of the biggest television boxing marathons I've witnessed in a long time. Saw all the opening bouts before Crawford-Horn and of course the main event. On the very next channel Austin Trout and Charlo were on, and following that was Mares vs Santa Cruz. I was having all kinds of problems trying to catch all of it at once, but I recorded both channels on my PVR..., so I wasn't too worried. I was like a kid in a candy store that night!

Remember when ESPN had Classic Fight Night for free? ESPN's like a charity case right now so I feel it's my responsiblity to help them out.

Im from Australia and we couldnt download this app. We had to watch it at the pub or pay $49.95. I watched at the pub.

People act like it would have been some blockbuster event if it wasn't on the app. Newsflash, 'bud' couldn't draw flies to ****. well that's Arum's job to make him into a star. When Don King was running boxing, he'd put Julian Jackson on Chavez undercards and Trinidad on Tyson Cards. People forget that Tyson's fight against Seldon(the night 2pac was shot that most people remember) had Trinidad and Norris in fights as they were preparing for a bout in the future. Imagine this, Deontay Wilder or Anthony Joshua has a fight and on the undercard you have Errol Spence or Keith Thurman in a fight and Hurd or Charlo in another. haha. But we all know that Arum's cards are trash as a whole product. He'll never do that for the public.

I don't see a App strictly for BOXING Working probably EVER because the sport particularly in the US is not that Popular that is the Harsh Reality that we the Hardcore Boxing Fans are in Denial About. Why do you think Networks would rather invest BIG in UFC and WWE but not as much for Boxing :dunno: For ESPN+ they at least have the UFC coming Next Year now that will drive up Subscribers on top of other Content of more popular sports. But NO BOXING ALONE can't be the driving force for ESPN+ or Any App that won't work. I don't think DAZN is just depending on Boxing Either, they're likely looking to secure the rights to other sports in America to help bring in Subs because again boxing ALONE will not get it done The problem with DAZN trying to secure rights to other sports in the US is that those sports are pretty much tied up to networks for years. The NFL is tied up until 2022 with CBS,Fox,NBC and ESPN. I believe both the NBA and MLB are sold tied up until around 2022. So DAZN isn't getting any of those sports on their platform in the US. They might get thrown a few games like the NFL does with Amazon Prime on Thursdays , DAZN might work well in other contries that don't get to watch US based sports but I've heard that the NFL on DAZN Canada is garbage and doesn't work well.

it was on regular cable in Canada, so I didn't have to. I would have considered it if he was fighting a live body tho.
