Just going over the fight from last night.... Gorman is an incredible boxer AND puncher. The combination and uppercut that dropped Turner was pure class, everything I love about HW boxing.
Watch the whole fight to get the true idea of what I'm saying, but I'll start it from just before the combo.... what a HW we have here! Does everything well, and can punch!
Agree with everything apart from the 6'1 part, he's 6'3 definitely... Turner is the same size as me at 5'11..... Gorman is a big guy. Just look at him next to Fury in the 'No Filter' thing on BT. He's no way 2 inches taller than me.
Maybe he is 6'3. I'm about 6'1 and i met him once and he didn't seem any taller than me really. It was a while ago though and a brief meeting so maybe i'm imagining it wrong. He just didn't seem to be 6'3" or more
Many fighters heights are a bit exaggerated. Fury claims to be 6'9 but you could see he was significantly smaller than that interviewer from last night, who is genuinely about 6'9". He's also shorter than David Price who is 6'8".
I'm fairly sure Joseph Parker isn't 6′4″. I've got a friend who is truly 6'4" and met Parker and has a pic with him, and even for allowing for shoes, angle etc..there's no way Parker was 6'4".
I was saying last night that he has some attributes rarely seen in todays HW scene. Very tidy boxer, great punch variety and selection, quick hands. obviously it's much easier to show those things against limited opposition. It will be good to see how he progresses. If he continues to move through the rankings, i could see him becoming quite a high risk, low reward kind of guy.
I just wonder if he's undersized for the big guys in the division. It wouldn't surprise me if he could make cruiserweight if he was in better shape. There's no way he's 6'3 too like BoxRec says. He's about 6'1" at best.

Hes not an incredible puncher ,he does have power body shots and if he keeps hitting you in the same spot he'll hurt you and has a hard upper cut . .
I still have him over Dubois at this point still who is a power puncher .
Gorman is the most complete boxer in the HW division .
His punch variety is incredible for a HW, and he has GOOD power, that's what I mean. he's obviously not a AJ/Wilder level power puncher, but the guy can dig one in for sure.... and he's a boxer/mover that can explode when he wants.
He carries power and can box. Will be interesting to see him against the top 20 guys.
What happens when he takes a punch though? I'd like to see him against a durable opponent who can punch back.
It's always the question when you have a good boxer.... what happens when they come across another good boxer?
We can only speculate, but Gorman looks to have all the tools, whether his chin, stamina and heart hold up at the elite level is still to be proven.
I'll enjoy following him to find out though.
