Announcement I'm assuming will be on Showtime during Leon Santa Cruz vs Abner Mares Card so maybe an Exclusive Showtime Network Deal along with the OFFICIAL Announcement of him vs Robert Easter Jr at Staples in Los Angeles which haven't been officially announced :dunno:
Whyte could be gifted a title shot since Hearn promotes him and Tony Johnson, but instead has to run an obstacle course and be AJ’s apron to protect him.
AJ forced to turn down FIFTY MILLION DOLLARS ... I’m sure everyone wants to sign up with a guy who will try to do everything in his power to keep them from taking the biggest payday in the history of their division.
Joshua's the A side, gets everything that comes with that. You dont give that up. I'm sceptical the fights a $100 million fight, its not being financed in any regular way. People crazy saying "Joshua can get more than $50mil", thats bigger than Canelo/Mayweather. Fight has to go over $100mil for Wilder to see any money, if its being financed in a regular way.
If theyre prepared to take a loss on it, gambling on a Wilder win and future earnings, theyll pull some other **** that A sides shouldnt be in a position to deal with, its Hearn's job to ensure such things dont happen.
If it's about signing with another promoter, so what?
It usually starts with fighting cans.
Big announcements should all be about taking on meaningful fights.
LOL, what do you mean? Not putting his fighter in a detrimental position. Way hes handling the Joshua and Whyte situations is exactly what a fighter wants.

No fighter that matters is signing with Hearn guys.
Wake up.
They watched the way he handled Wilder Joshua and r laughing at the notion.

Or the way Joshua makes 20 million a fight and they want a piece of that action.
When is the last time this guy fought someone people thought could realistically beat him?
Besides lomachenko, give me some names. Or are you just talking out of your azz?
Well, Hearn's got Luke Campbell who is 1 win away from being Garcia's mandatory. Also, considering Garcia and Arum's relationship, Hearn might be the only guy that could get him the Lomachenko fight
Garcia's next mandatory is Commey, assuming he beats Easter. IBF mandatory is due first. Wishful thinking to foresee him signing with Hearn for a Luke Campbell fight that's uninteresting and a year away at the least.
What's your guess?
Announcement coming later today #TeamMikeyGarcia #RGBA— Team Mikey Garcia (@mikeygarcia) June 9, 2018
To be fair, it says nothing about the announcement being big. Just that there wil be an announcement.
Agreed. Maybe he signs a one-fight deal or something with Hearn but who does Eddie even have for him to do that?

I gotta agree with this assessment.
Mikey spent two years in his prime not fighting anyone just to get away from Top Rank. He isn't about to sign away the rest of his career.
