yeah, same exact thing that stone footed, 230 lb HW james toney did.
toney pivoted 180 degrees and flew across the ring after he ducked under a right hand from one of the best counterpunchers of his generation, too :lol1:.
just take your L, kid. i don't think you even saw marquez fight mayweahter if you needed another gif to know what that sequence actually looked like.
I saw the Mayweather fight and was surprised how dominant he was, showcased his skill especially defence, didn’t show he had crazy legwork speed
That’s a pull counter... shown you James Flipping Toney doing it... he has the speed of a beached whale.

Pointless thread. There are many who had potential to beat floyd. Floyd wasn't about fighting toughest opponents with best chance of beating him.
Floyd wasnt about showing he's the best at all times. Sure he fought a tough opponent people wanted to see him in even if years too late. But there's always another challenge and guy who comes along. Floyd Was always living off past glories

That gif doesn’t show his legs, he evaded a punch, even until recently James Toney was doing that as is Tyson Fury but that isn’t speed it’s good defence and skill

Why does it matter?
Floyd is a dinosaur in boxing terms, it's not even saying much. Maybe they want a money fight?
Maybe a statement like "A prime floyd would lose to errol spence'
Word is that the 1st time they sparred Errol was hitting him nonstop & Floyd couldn't get off the ropes then someone from his team stopped it. Floyd was talking sh*t then kicked him out, 1/2 her later he sends someone to get him & tells him no one is pushing him like he did so asked him to stay....they sparred bout 5 more times & they said Floyd was Floyd. Guess he slept on Errol but only once. That's how I know Floyd would beat him.
Sounds sensible, I’d be hard pressed to name someone today that can adapt as quickly and adeptly as Floyd. Ward is the other guy that comes to mind when I’m thinking about the ability to neutralize opponents.
Against current Floyd sure, rumor has it Spence touched up Floyd a bit during some sparring a year or so ago.
It’s hard to favor anyone in this current era against a prime money may Floyd.

Aw man when are the excuses gonna stop
How many grueling fights has this guy been in really
Fighting a half baked Pac, a never was Berto, and a never will be McGregor, this guy should be fresh as a daisy
No one who has been fighting at Championship level for 20 years is "fresh as a daisy" there is literally not a single example of that.
It's not just the fights it's the training camps that take a toll on fighters. That shouldn't need to be explained but I understand that you are retarded.
So what, Floyd is in his prime now at 41 years old? Ironic coming from the guy who thinks everyone over the age of 30 is shot.
I guess Shane was in his prime when he fought Floyd too right? Considering you said "the whole world wanted to see it" and how dangerous of a fight it was.
Floyd in an actual fight with Spence I think dog walks him. Spence is very very flalt footed, doesn't really move his head off the center line when he attacks and would be vulnerable to straight rights to the body. This is why even though I think Keith Thurman is ducking him(he definitely is) If he's healthy and on his game, I think he would knock out Spence.

 sheesh.
yeah, 5 inches of reach. fighting a 130 lber. i get it. so you pull out of range of the jab, counter with tour right hand. but ffs you cannot say the dude wasn't a reflexive fighter and master post marquez when you look at him slip that right hand! that's not some schmuck flailing in response to getting hit, it's an all time great who can't put a glove on a guy! he missed him by half a foot!
enough of this :lol1:.

Disagree, since the Floyd return with Marquez and onwards he didn’t really use his legs or reflexes, it was more of ring IQ and being smart. For example, Pacquiao was faster and better reflexes when he fought Floyd but got suckered into a Mayweather fight where he got pot shot all night.

What makes Floyd different is he has been fighting at Championship level for 20+ years at age 40.
Bernard Hopkins had his first title fight at age 28. Late starters like Hopkins generally fight to a later age because they have less miles on the clock at an advanced age.

bernard was never retired for several years.
bernard was also a bigger guy. punches and chins go later in life, and they mean more at bigger weight classes. floyd's style depended more on his legs and his reflexes. hopkins was a good ring general and reactor, too, but he also held, mauled, headbutted, etc, and did things other than just box with polish.
and bernard could beat the brawling pascals and the drunk pavlik's of the world, but he lost to chad dawson, an athletic fighter with good boxing fundamentals, which spence has. lost to taylor, lost to calzaghe. you see a theme here, right?
