We know Saunders isn't really injured and is looking to cash out against one of these two next.
Which fight would get him the bigger payday, GGG in the UK? Or Canelo in Las Vegas?
ideally, G would fight BJS and then Canelo. Unfortunately everyone knows G's goal is to be undisputed, so Golden Boy can really hold out for whatever they want if G comes to the table with all of the belts.
Stopped reading after you used Glaser's numbers for Golovkin's fight 3 years ago to compare against imaginary ones you pulled out of your ass for Canelo-Smith. Not even the dumbest dogsh1t of a fanboy claimed Canelo-Khan did "over 700k". Oscar barely had the balls to say "it did 600k", while Glaser said 330k.

Not only did you miss the point of what was said, you proceeded to make up things and be allergic to facts.
Actually, why do I bother with this? Onto the ignore list with you.
Yes, good argument. Anyone who uses actual facts and data go onto your ignore list. That way you can ignore reality. The reality is Canelo is the biggest cash cow in boxing. The reality is g's own promoter said he cannot g enough money to even fight his mandatory. When you are stuck with one million dollars to pay both fighters, because g cannot sell ppvs, then g is clearly not a draw. If g was the same draw as Canelo, then g would fight on ppv.
Canelo did 300k with Liam Smith! g fighting liam smith would get a total of 97 ppv buys. Not 97k, but just 97. That is a fact. Everyone gets the biggest payday of their careers against Canelo. Just the facts. I hate Canelo as much as the next guy, but you sound like an ignorant retard. Not only are you ignorant of the FACTS, but you are also retarded. Good luck sir, you will definitely need it.
Actually? If they can get GGG in the UK that is the much bigger fight and it is not even close. BJS vs Canelo is big, UK fans will travel but casual american sports fans won't give a sh1t about it
You think that can match the $$$ of a Canelo PPV?
What if BJS gets a percentage of a Canelo PPV, though?
It's hard to completely avoid the business side of boxing these days, even if all one cares about is the fights.
And I think we must keep up since many folks like to travel to watch a fight, and see what happened with wlad, saunders, etc. Imagine spending thousands only to have it cancelled, that is the only reason I hesitated to go to NY to watch loma, because you never know.I think is best to know about numbers and rankings.

I think he would make more money fighing GGG who would come to the UK to fight him. Oscar is really stingy when it comes to paying Canelo's opponents and Canelo would not come to the UK.

I think it helps to understand the business of boxing a bit better.

why do you want to know? are you getting a percentage if the fight happens in the states?

Yea, those charts don't show anything except how desperate Canelo haters and g fanboys are to disprove the truth.
The meaningful numbers is ppv buys. Canelo gets over 700k for Khan, and gets an automatic 300k regardless of his opponent. g has had one ppv fight that didn't involve Canelo and got a solid 97k.
Canelo got 300k for freaking Liam Smith. Which your chart and post say that interest in g-Brook was close to the same. The fact remains, Canelo is a ppv fighter and g is not. If g would fight professional boxers most fights, he could be a ppv fighter. But he never has and never will, g lacks the cahones to dare to be great. And that is why everyone would make more against Canelo.
It is not half as close as you imagine. Liam Smith gets 300k and Khan gets 700k against Canelo. And regardless of any retarded charts, the fact remains those are hundreds of thousands of people paying to watch Canelo. That g can generate almost as much interest when his fights are free, only shows the huge disparity between the two. Against g, the fight is on regular hbo. Against Canelo and it is on ppv and guaranteed to do at least 300k.

Who cares. A better question is who is he more likely to face? My answer would be GGG. That fight would probably take place in the UK.
So in your opinion he is more likely to face someone who many people think would get him less money?

You should look into your so called "facts".
I was checking out those documents from the Haymon litigation. These are court documents & the facts can not be disputed. Canelo doesn't pay his opponents well, Khan only made 20%. You do the math if Golovkin pays you 40% vs 20% from Canelo, even if the ppv sales are twice as much, the earnings are still relatively the same.
"Alvarez-Khan generated revenue of $27,707,448 and was Golden Boy’s most profitable fight of 2016. Khan made $6 million and Alvarez made $13,309,664 (80% of the net profits) while Golden Boy made net profits of $3,327,415.88."
Live gate for this fight was $7.4 million. That means that the remaining 20 million was PPV sales
20 million / 65 = 307K PPV buys.
Yes, some reports say the Khan fight sold as high as 600,000 buys, but others say as low a 332,000.
"HBO saying today they are not going to announce a PPV buy number for Canelo-Khan, but we have the number, 332,000 buys & that is horrible, that's why the "no-announcement," -Rick Glaser
Kell Brook vs Gennady Golovkin Purse Payouts:
Gennady Golovkin - Guaranteed $5 million (Golovkin is not getting any UK PPV share).
Kell Brook - Guaranteed $5 million (Brook might clear slightly more than Golovkin with his PPV contract with SkySports).
Canelo doesn't offer near the split of revenue as GGG does so their opponents income is not as far off as some seem to think.
Khan made 20% Canelo vs Jacobs who made 40% versus GGG.
probably make more money against Canelo, especially considering Clenyellow will be available to fight for that September holiday weekend.
Golovkin - Saunders does NOT sell out a stadium in the UK
It would definitely sell out the 02, or Manchester Arena.
It's actually a lot closer than people think. BJS is not a huge name in the UK. He barely fought in Wembley, usually fighting in smaller arenas on smaller cards. His popularity is much, much closer to Liam Smith than it is Amir Khan.
Here's a google trends comparison of the 3 Brits:
https://trends.google.com/trends/explore?date=2016-09-03%202018-06-03&q=%2Fm%2F03qlzg4,%2Fm%2F04qfsh,%2Fm%2F0ywwwkj
trends.embed.renderExploreWidget("TIMESERIES", {"comparisonItem":,"category":0,"property":""}, {"exploreQuery":"date=2016-09-03%202018-06-03&q=%2Fm%2F03qlzg4,%2Fm%2F04qfsh,%2Fm%2F0ywwwkj","guestPath":"https://trends.google.com:443/trends/embed/"});
In comparison, here's what happens when you add Golovkin and Canelo on top of them:
https://trends.google.com/trends/explore?date=2016-09-03%202018-06-03&q=%2Fm%2F03qlzg4,%2Fm%2F04qfsh,%2Fm%2F0ywwwkj,%2Fm%2F07rsdm,%2Fm%2F065z6wp
The point is that Canelo-BJS in Vegas sells the same 250-300k PPVs that he sold against Liam Smith. On the other hand, Golovkin has previous exposure to the UK audience vs. Brook. That was his introduction to the UK. Since then, he was part of a huge PPV event. He's more popular now. If they put Golovkin in Wembley, that sh1t will sell out in less than a week.
Actually this trends graph is better at making the point. In Aug-Sep of 2016, we had Canelo-Smith and Brook-Golovkin. Their internet popularity was nearly identical.

Is this a joke? Canelo gets around 700k ppv buys for someone like Khan or JCC. Compared to Mr. 97k.
Who would McGregor make more against: a rematch with Floyd or a fight with Malignaggi???
This isn't even a question. It is an attempt to rationalize g's cowardice. Also, g walked away from a unification bout with BSJ before, so I don't see what has changed.
Canelo is the biggest cash cow in boxing today. Canelo sparring would probably get more ppv buys than g would for a real match. Canelo may be a cheater and a diva, but that does not have anything to do with how many people will pay to see him fight. For crying out loud, JCC Jr. had all his fights on ppv before Canelo took over as the best current boxer from Mexico. I despise Canelo, but acting like he isn't a draw does not make it true.
Canelo will fight on the September Mexican Independence day weekend, because no one will dare compete for ppv buys with Canelo. G could announce he is fighting another Vanes, or another Rubio, or another Wade, or another Monroe Jr. and if Canelo announced he is having a sparring session on ppv for the same time, g would immediately reschedule. That is how close these two are in terms of how much money their fights generate.
