In his Friday chat.
DAZN is already trying to back out of deal for breach of contract. Hearn promised big names and has 0 people signed despite his press releases saying otherwise.
Fraud.
Hearn is scum.
🤨 Eddie Hearn claims Adrien Broner has now come back to him since posting his first offer on Instagram and labeling it a "slave deal", but he decided not to reply to AB. — Michael Benson (@MichaelBensonn) June 4, 2018
:lol1: Please, please let this be true.
Is that $125M/year just for Hearn & those 16 shows? I've been unclear on that since this whole thing got announced, but that $3M per show number definitely seemed too low doing the math for all this boxing & all that money.
Will Hearn need to pay Sky something to broadcast their shows that will be on DAZN? Or will the rumored WBSS 2nd season that allegedly will be on DAZN be paid outta that $125M?
I think if DAZN has the WBSS it will be a separate deal. The moneys to break the US market. Not sure about paying rights for Skys fights but if it did youd think it would work both ways and Sky would have to pay something for the DAZN cards.
Hes been doing some interviews, heres some new stuff

👑 Eddie Hearn says he has already reached agreements with some world champions who have agreed to join his DAZN venture with Matchroom USA. — Michael Benson (@MichaelBensonn) June 4, 2018
If that's the case why is the offer to Broner $ 6.75 M for 3 fights on a 24M budget ? Where is the rest of 17.25 going
If Hearn was working with 8M budget per event he wouldn't be struggling to sign fighters
eeerr because not all fights are going to include the "calibre" and i use that term loosely.. of adrien broner. Hearn also confirmed in that video that whilst adding it all up it comes to 8 mil a card, some cards arent going to be as good as others, and he is looking to put on at least 3 or 4 super good cards.
So whatever he does not spend on the lower tier quality cards he will have in reserve for paying higher purses on the more popular cards.
if you can point me to a card where the headliner has been earning 1 million or over, and the preliminary fight or any undercard fighter has earned near that amount i would be more than happy to see it and admit that i may be incorrect.
Adrien broner may earn more than his announced 1 mil per purse through payments from showtime or haymon or through PBC but that does not mean he will forever be worth that.
Hearn offered him the deal he did on a three fight basis, irrespective of results. He has failed to shine against any opposition that is even considered remotely a live dog, and given that, i cannot see uncle Al or showtime supplementing broners purses should he continue with his current form.
Basically, what im trying to say is, broner does not look at the future, to some extent he doesnt even examine the present because if he did he would make improvements to his game. He seems to be in a wonder dust world of thinking he will continue to get the paydays he is on his current performances.
That simply will not be the case. So if i was Broner, and im not improving to the level or ability that i want to, i would take hearns free money for my branding because of his somewhat unlearned knowledge of my demographic market, than stay with Al and have my purses cut due to my **** boxing.
It's 16 USA and 16 UK DAZN will showcase 32 fights in the USA
Eddie Hearn said it himself it has a budget of around 3M per event and said that they will have to do the production which will come out of the budget obviously
Too lazy to look up the videos guy does like 20 interviews a day if someone posts it I would appreciate it
No there's no UK DAZN. They don't even have a UK platform or plans to launch it there.
They'll do 16 shows a year all in the U.S. Some 3-4 will be more expensive (10-12m per show) and the rest will still be better than the Showtime / HBO shows (according to EH).
So the 7.8m is the average across all shows.
It's interesting you say that, because I find Mikey & Roberto to be the ultimate fighter/trainer/businessmen combination. And that's why he is seriously considering it. He doesn't have any loyalties. Not saying he's not loyal, but he made it a point to make sure he wasn't tied to anything. And I suspect the deal he wants with Hearn doesn't tie him down either.
I think Mikey knows first hand what it means to be tied down to a contract. He's way too smart for these things, and I love the set-up they have.
Mikey is not a dumb guy. I believe he's studying to become a detective or policeman or something like that on the side, and generally has learned a lot about the business.
I'm 100% sure that the deal with Hearn would be on a fight by fight basis or two fights or something like that.
I just want to see Mikey out there consistently against the top guys. Missed way too much of his career already.
The DAZN pulling out part is very likely false.
But as for him signing nobody, I called this...
Hearn doesn’t have any pull in America, and the fact that he stupidly flaunted a billion $ deal, instantly inflated the entire US market whilst giving all the leverage to the fighters in negotiations, cause Hearn is clearly desperate to sign stars before September.
Hearn has played his hand terribly, but is anyone really all that surprised???
You wont find the video, as it doesn't exist. Sky pays for the UK fights.
Lol he doesn't seem to realise there's an IFL vid where Hearn confirms all of this to them in an Uber straight after the announcement.
Hearn has 16 cards a year on a 125 million dollar budget per annum. Is the American education system really that **** that you somehow get 3 mil per show out of that and somehow lose the remaining 77 million?
****ing mugs

Its fine if they want to believe its only $3mil a card. When the cards get announced they can try and figure out how the hell Hearn managed it with only $3mi, including production, lol.
Especially considering how much he pays judges and officials for early stoppages. Must be getting it all supplemented from that imaginary StubHub touting money

I think he said in a video there will be an announcement at the end of June regarding new fighters he signed but I could be wrong. I guess we'll have to wait and see.
That's correct.. at the end of June DAZN will have their launch event where they will announce other content to supplement boxing. This will also be when Hearn provides details of their first card in September and will unveil new signings

$3m x 16 shows x 8 years = $384mil
Yea, dunno where that other palooka was getting his numbers from? Hearn himself said he will look to put on 2, 3 or 4 mega shows a year but every one of his shows will be good quality and contain even matchups.
1billion over 8 years. 16 shows a year. 7.8million a show.
They're doubling the average showtime / HBO card

Im not sure DAZN can pull out. Hearn has 2 years guaranteed - which usually obligates them to at least carry him for 2 years unless there are some serious, serious issues at hand.
LOL I just looked it up & posted too.
Did he mention anything about DAZN wanting out of the deal on his show like OP is saying?
I know for a fact Danz wants out for breach. Were i work did the contract for Hearn and Danz.
Eddie is in huge trouble.
