Charlo v GGG - who wins?

Golovkin will knock out charlo .......still the best middleweight in the world even slightly beyond his prime This^^^. And it won’t be a bad thing for Charlo. He clearly needs to be learn what humility is all about. Golovkin will remain the man to beat in the MW division until he moves up or retires.

I agree. I feel like Jermall hasn't done much yet, and no need to derail his career. He should've at least fought some quality guys by now. I wasn't that much impressed with his last fight, either. I'd pick Saunders as well to beat Charlo. A good fight will be between Charlo and Derevyanchenko. I don't see Jermall taking GGG's power punches that well. Sorry I've already decided that Charlo isnt ready.. I like the guy. I think he is an exciting fighter but he's not ready to face Golovkin. I agree. thats not yours, or the WBCs, decision charlo has called lil g out...if he feels hes ready then hes ready and there would be no excuses its funny to watch yall say he hasnt done squat or beaten a good MW yet.....but canelo didnt beat any MWs and,despite what you guys want to believe, fought golovkin well and got a draw....canelo had 0 mw experience too ... Cabell had a lot more high profile fights than Charlo and still lost by four rounds.

It's debatable but I think Charlo has the better jab and would prove that if they were to fight plus he has the height and reach advantage to help him execute the jab, it's not the be all and end all having the height and reach I get that but in this case I think it would be crucial. In recent fights against elite opposition like Canelo and Jacobs Golovkin got by on his jab, it's a great weapon but I think they lacked the stinging jab that Charlo has to disarm Golovkin further. That's the key to this potential fight imo, maybe i'm wrong but we'll see if it happens. It would be interesting. Jacobs is similar in height and reach to Jermall. Wasn't much of an issue in terms of jabs. Don't think Jermall's jab is his main weapon either. He throws away a lot of them to set up his right hand. Fighters only win fights on jabs if their jab is significantly better than the other guy's. It can be stinging and hard, but for a fighter with a chin, it's not the main concern.

I think it's important to note: just because most think GGG will win does not mean that Charlo cannot win (and win in spectacular fashion - i.e., KO/TKO). Charlo is a monster and will come to fight. I hope the Canelo rematch does not happen, so we can get this true middleweight war!

Charlo keeps it close early but GGG catches him after a few rds and Charlo realizes it's time to toss the aggression out the window. He gets ground down over the course of the fight, getting TKO'd around the 10th rd.

golovkin fans on boxing boards were pretty much all in consensus.....the same way they all swore kovalev was going to murder ward...not once...but def the 2nd time! i know what the odds were...i followed them very closely....the golovkin fanboys were claiming domination for over a year out before the fight...dont pretend like they werent...."canyellow" and every other term was thrown around wow fans of a fighter thought their fighter would win and easily. never heard of that before ggg

A lot of Canelo rooters said it would be easy and the fight was about an 8-4 fight so that’s one round from being fairly dominant. Canelo was about 3-5 rounds away from what that side claimed. Anyway the original point was that he “wasn’t supposed to” dominate but you’ve done your usual obsessed with what a few internet fans of a fighter you dislike said and spin their to suit your narrative meanwhile in the real world the fight was considered a close one that GGG would win and minus a bad decision he did seem to do that.

It was considered a close match-up and played out that way with Canelo getting a gift draw that the vast majority of people strongly disagreed with. GGG wins by KO GGG is old and well past prime but he can still beat any middleweight in the world. Maybe in a couple of years someone will be able to beat him but not now. He beat Canelo in the opinion of most viewers. Jermall is very good but not good enough. He probably isn't as good as Jacobs or Canelo and he has yet to beat a good middleweight. Accurate post. Golovkin may be getting older but he’s too strong for any MW in the division right now. Things may change in the future but Charlo won’t be the one to change things imo. I still want to see Golovkin face Charlo to quiet some of the nonbelievers:)
