As I wrote in yesterday's message, Ryabinskiy had good stuff to say...
Just 3 hours ago we got some more news from him...

"We’ve come up with a very good financial proposal for Eddie Hearn to bring the Povetkin vs Joshua fight to Russia, as well as with our conditions to host the fight in the UK. If we don’t reach an agreement until the end of the month, we’ll have to get ready to go to purse bid."
Like I said, watch the interview.
People cottoned into it and I applaud the team in a way for taking the opportunity to deliver the PR stunt, but really it doesn't change too much really. Joshua can choose if he wants to fight Wilder in UK or US and not really anything wilder or his fans can do about that. It obviously won't come natural in many case because usually the US has been the place to be but everything is in joshuas favor here:
1) who is rated #1 by majority?
2) who has far better resume?
3) who has the most belts?
4) who is age on his side?
5) who has best alternative competitive fight options?
6) who has best alternative financial fight options?
Literally everything is in Joshua's favour. Added to that, even Joshua has unified the division twice already, and pretty decent at that; and the mandatory for him is probably the most threatning alternative opposition to either man at the moment, he really shouldn't be criticised if it didn't happen next either. While wilder is stuck because his most likely alternative is Brezeale, who while unbeaten, would've been a decent opponent, but now he has been soundly beaten by Joshua without even causing one threatening punch, would just be considered yet another bum on his resume.
Without a doubt, AJ, no matter his skill has more credibility and is not shying away from dangerous opponents.
Wilder, while he did gain some credibility with his fight against Ortiz.... has otherwise fought no one except AJs leftovers.
And still... Wilder goes life and death with Ortiz saved by the ref, and will not fight Whyte, Parker, etc.
Again, this has nothing to do with skill.... as I think the fight is a 50/50 fight.... AJ can box, but Wilder can windmill anyone into submission.
Credibility wise.... and only that.... AJ is a billionaire and Wilder is the king of Bumb Squad.
bro stop it, if the shoe were on the other foot you would be calling wilder a duck and mentioning he asked for 50mil

And you're a b@tch who stands up for a b@tch.
P.S. I'm not really a Wilder fan
I know you are not a Wilder fan. You are a fangirl, that's a difference ;) Wilder loves you boy :D
You guys really ought to watch the context in which Joshua said he will take $50 mil , he was laughing and joking at the time. Clearly he's going to take an offer like that serious, but it was quite obvious he was having a laugh in an interview.

I don't care who's scared of who or where the fight is. I wanna see who KO who when all the talk is done.
Ahh, I like how you change your stance when it's no longer humanly possible to defend Joshua anymore lol
Only because he's scared of that bronze bomber work

If this is true, just LOL!
You know you're the biggest nuthugger in this thread. Me, like most others, are just having a hard time understanding how a man gets EXACTLY what he asked for to make a fight, then turns around and still won't sign.
Nuthuggers like you, run with it, and somehow make it the other guy's fault. :pat:
You will defend your master Deontay and make excuse for him all day long, pathetic nuthugger :D

Will this be the Supercharged Povetkin or the naturally aspirated version? Find out on the next episode of DBZ

Glad you were able to put your own foot in your mouth first.
You really had no clue who Ryabinskiy is?
This fight is a HUGE fight for Russia, and at this point would be bigger than Povetkin vs Wlad... and that fight was terrific.
Is this a $50 million plus fight? Yes.
Will Hearn bid $50 million? NO!
If it goes to bid, I promise you, Ryabinskiy wants this fight more for national pride than just the immediate return on investment. You're glad that someone you don't know retracted their statement online? Really?
Nope, had full clue of who he was. Talked about him during Wilder/Povetkin fiasco - use search function if you doubt it.
Think I explained my reasoning pretty clearly. Hearn's used to throwing a ton of money on AJ fights, Ryanbianskiy is not. He won the Wilder bid with less than 10m, like 7? 8? Even the Klitchko fight that he brought to Russia was around 20m if I recall correctly.
I'd also disagree with your label of this fight as 'huge for Russia'. If this was in his prime, rising star, gold medalist Povetkin, yeah, it would be. The current version is not only much older, he also got busted for PEDs and looked shaky in his last few fights. Would you put up $50M just to see your fighter get sparked in 2 rounds? It's debatable.
Nuthuggers like you think they will get a cut from Wilder’s money :D

Povetkin's chance of becoming champ was 10 years ago, but he messed it up.
David Price recently stunned him and had his team in panic mode.
He can't compete at this level, he's done.
