Considered by many to be the greatest fighter of Alltime. If he took up boxing how would he have done? He would have been in Welterweight class I believe.
Could he beat a Floyd mayweather?
He had immense power. Knockout power.

He wasn’t boxer, it’s like matching up McGregor against Mayweather.
I'm not one of those guys who think that Bruce Lee was a "fraud.
People thinking Bruce was a fraud don’t exist so why would you say what you just said it’s very naive and irresponsible?
Finding someone who thinks lee is a fraud is as hard as finding Loch Ness monster in Scotland. The odds would be about same.
Actually there's more chance of finding nessie. Your giving trolls comments far too much importance.
Not extras, people who would come from other towns and martial arts guys. Do some homework on it, it is quite interesting
Yeah, sure .
Please none of that bullsh8 stories about muay thai boxers challenging him on the set of The Big Boss.
Robert Wall said he knew of 3 fights on the set of ETD.
They were extras . Kinda hard for other thugs from other towns coming to the set of ETD when it was shot in an island .
The set of Fist of Fury/ Chinese Connection was in a closed lot . They made it just for that movie. And they shot mostly late at night b/c of the noise factor in HK.
That leaves The Way of the Dragon/ Return of the Dragon. Shot in Rome and in the studio and outskirts of HK. Funny how Ang Lung fought Robert Wall and the Japanese ( he was really Korean ) dude outdoors in the outskirts of HK then fights Chuck Norris in Italy. The close-up shots and fight was mostly shot in HK too. The bricks looked fake.
How many good fighters were there in Hong Kong then ?
Probably not a lot. Mostly punks who also fell for the kung fu and wing chun bullsh8.
Yes.
He fought some extras in the set of ETD.
Bob Wall swears Lee fought 3 guys .
All Chinese extras .
You know, those fools who think their kung fu is great .
Except Lee already knew kung fu is worth sh8.
Sorry, not much accomplishments as those guys weren't really good .
And one story of him sparring with Trovador Ramos has many versions.
Ramos was a bad azz himself.

Lee was a hard worker and a student of the game, he understood fighting very well. There is no doubt that he could fight, but I hate when people ask how he would do against an elite boxer who actually fought his entire life. We have no idea how Lee would handle a punch and he was not a boxer. Now if he dedicated himself to the craft who knows, but that is just like asking if a top level boxer dedicated themselves to be a king fu master...
My thoughts exactly. That's why I hate questions like this.
If that punch bag could talk im sure it would be saying ouch that hurt real bad. So enough talk of that one footage of him hitting heavybag.
Countless people have admitted sparring with bruce and being inferior. You can fill 1000s of pages with quotes and there are books upon books. The greatest testimonies of all time and your still trying to convince yourself there is mystery surrounding his ability to fight? Your punching way above your weight. There maybe mystery surrounding h ow tough his jaw was and people might wonder what happens when he takes a hard shot. But there's absolutely no mystery that Lee had no trouble whatsoever kicking backsides to kingdom come.
So stop trying to fool yourself your fooling noone
Yeah, the bag hurt .
Keep denying the fact that the video shows he did not have much punching power and snap.
And you fail to mention, in the 60's and 70's, martial arts was at their infancy in the US. So much of the stuff they practiced was just concept .
You move here, I move there, you do this , I do that .
Even world champions looked like sh8.

One can argue the first really great karate people were Joe Lewis and Benny the Jet Urguidez because they really fought full contact kickboxing . Benny fought Japanese and Muay Thai boxers .
While so many were stuck in point fighting and conceptual martial arts .
Bruce was fanatical about all forms of martial arts and the ability to amalgamate them organically. I doubt he’d just practice boxing, so he probably wouldn’t find himself boxing at the elite levels. He’d probably be more likely to fight in mma, but even then he didn’t care for competition or rules.

Right, you'd rather believe your " countless" of confessions.
While a video clearly proves he was an average amateur boxer at best .
And Joe Lewis said he never saw him spar.
And if you believe some leetardation stories, Lee knocked out Norris, Lewis and company .
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9dI998TEspM
Video shows there was nothing special in his hitting skills .
And he was one handed.
Dude, you can have confessions , more confessions, and more confessions, the video evidence shows he was not a better striker than most amateurs.
Go ahead, show me a video of him hitting that 75 lbs bag and tell me that he was even good as an amateur dude punching the bag.
Stop making stuff up. There were no COUNTLESS of people confessing they lost to Bruce Lee because Lee did not fight much.
Joe said he didn't even see him spar .

There are lots of stories about him having to fight on the set when he was in Hong Kong with lot’s of guys who came over to challenge him. Never lost a fight.

hogwash he sparred with all of them
lewis still trying to sell his fighting systems in his old age
and wall stated a 300 lb bag not a 700 lb one :dunce:
Well, according to Joe, Lee didn't. Joe Lewis - I learn fast. I made black belt in one year in Okinawa in three different styles. I am a fast learning. I can get all your stuff in a matter of weeks, and I mean anybody who can fight. I worked with Bruce less than two years before we grew apart. We used to work together for 6 to 8 hours at a time. I would be at his house at one in the afternoon, and not leave until maybe ten that night. Is that one lesson? Bruce was not a fighter. He was an actor and a teacher. He was a great teacher.
And Lee was NOT A FIGHTER.
Stop making things up there is absolutely no mystery about his ability to fight. The idea that there is mystery surrounding his fighting abilities is a manufactured idea. Countless people have testified to how easy Lee beat them and how amazing he was beating people. That's why without exception any ufc champ will say Lee would be ufc champ if he wanted to be. Because they know what Lee did whilst alive and what he could do. The only mystery is If bruce actually would have been a champ if he did compete like everyone thinks he would. But then again people would bet their life on it.
Ok, I can understand if there is mystery about wjm fight because there are underground versions of that fight, but anyway that was when bruce was 24 before his he improved so much since then. So having trouble with w jm doesn't make Lee not great. Countless hold their hands up and confess they lost to Bruce, so its literally a smoking gun of evidence, even if WJM in 1965 didn't admit it.
Pro fighters vouch for bruce against anyone, any size. Skipper Mullins would pick Lee in any street situation and skipper fought heavyweights like joe lewis. Louis Delgado also fought heavyweights and said Lee was toughest guy he ever fought.
So there is no mystery. There's lots of things in life you haven't seen for yourself and there's no mystery. Bruce being able to fight exceedingly well is one of them.
He's got the greatest testimonies or hearsay of all time and your sitting their trying to convince yourself you r not sure if he can fight? Well nobody believed you in afraid.

Joe said he didn't even see him spar .
I remain agnostic on Bruce's fighting ability but it's a ludicrous scenario matching him up against proven champions in any combat sport. Too much fiction clouding our opinions.
Yeah, and the bag keeps getting heavier .
It was a kicking bag .
And what's the point ?
Joe himself said he never sparred with Bruce Lee in an interview .
And he never saw Bruce Lee spar .
hogwash he sparred with all of them
lewis still trying to sell his fighting systems in his old age
and wall stated a 300 lb bag not a 700 lb one :dunce:
I think he had the potential, seems to have very fast hands and feet for someone whos not actually a boxer.
It was his work ethic that set him apart and being a student of the art he was trying to learn
