Loma was 5 fights in as a professional and they were marketing him as the best fighter in the history of the sport. GGG was promoted as a monster, and no oe wanted to fight him. As soon as he fought Canelo and Jacobs he looked real normal. He ducked Andre Ward and now he’s ducking CHARLO,Andrade, and Hurd! I give Loma credit because I personally believe he’s a special fighter and not a hype job but he needs to fight guys like Crawford or M.Garcia before he’s rated anywhere near #1 P4P! Crawford,Wilder,Spence and Charlo has the potential and credentials to be PPV stars like TBE Floyd Mayweather. All their missing is real effort behind their promotions! Crawford has a huge title fight coming up but where is the promotions? Where are the videos and commercials? It’s almost like their keeping it a secret! This is precisely the problem behind these guys not selling out venues and PPV! No one knows who they are and I’m certain it’s not by mistake. Maybe the black fighter should ask his black manager why he couldn't sell out in a 'Chocolate City' like DC. I bet there is some white man in the background responsible for all this

Warren is one of Haymon Promoters he uses lol. He is nothing but the U.K. version of Lou Dibella...those names aren’t really worth mentioning anyway lol Not true at all. Warren has Boxnation and BT Sport. He has two huge tv deals and DiBella has nothing close to that. Frampton isn't worth mentioning? He beat Leo Santa Cruz and Donaire and isn't worth mentioning? The top Haymon fighters aren't making <$2m per fight on average. Russell Jr.'s inactivity is hurting him. Hopefully he fights more than once a year and he'll need to get some bigger names in there like Santa Cruz and Frampton. I'd really like to see Russell Jr. vs. Rigo.

Meh, Russell's career is going nowhere fast. He wants to "preserve" himself by not fighting much and he has brittle hands. He will continue to fight once/year for the duration of his career. Lame.

Gary Russell Jr barely fights and has really only fought 1 top tier fighter and lost (Lomachenko). Beyond that, the guy treats Boxing like a 9-5 (which is fine), he doesn't have a outgoing personality, doesn't like talking Boxing in general. What's really driving people out to see him fight? His fight with Jojo Diaz was entertaining but he's not anyone I'd honestly pay to see fight, but that's just me.

You're full of shyt. There's a lot of guys getting PAID these days and Loma deserves it more than most of them. Its simple economics. It is not sustainable to pay a boxer when he can't get the viewers. This is exactly why PBC is probably the biggest cash sink of boxing in recent years. Loma is clearly trying to build himself up for the long term so he is on the right path. Big money should come his way in about a year when he is completely established.
