ESPN Needs to Suspend Tessitore for Excessive, Shameless Bias

its not like we havent seen this kind of stuff on other networks...but ya he was a bit over the top...i didnt mind him felating loma....and he did mention some linares shots...but i thought he left out quite a few punches that linares landed and just stayed silent on them

I didn’t know till nsb anyone even payed attention to commentators like that, some of y’all act like you depend on them to tell you what’s happening. Exactly!!!!

It was disgusting listening to this guy all night long. Calling Loma the biggest attraction in boxing and having an orgasm anytime he landed anything. I've listened to every commentator in the sport from the last 10-15 years and have never seen anything like this. The d*ck gobbling went way overboard. It was blatant and shameless. I've seen commentators d*ck ride Floyd and Pacquiao. But it never was this bad. ESPN needs to suspend him for excessive bias. You had a few G stringers here asking HBO to FIRE Roy Jones after his rant about the DQ. This was worst than that. Let's keep it real. Yeah it was terrible...timmy, as much as I dislike his commentary was the only one giving linares props. It was a damn close fight yet the way that commentary team was going at it was ridiculous.

Haven’t watched the fight yet but not suprised by this every Espn fight I watch has been a f.ucking sh.it as far as everyone involved cheerleading for the home Espn Top Rank fighter They don’t even try and be objective. The Espn website is exactly the same. The same day Gennady / Vanes was announced they had a article trashing it ( fair enough ) but had a article cheerleading Zurdos Fight against a unknown no hoper Every TR card on Espn gets front page coverage and set up like it’s a great fight. Other notable fights most of the time don’t even get mentioned

ESPN are by far the worst. They ignore almost everything the opponent does. Barrera was landing combinations on Adames in the last few rounds that went completely ignored, but when Adames landed one punch in return they cream their pants. Pacquiao-Horn was probably the worst commentary in history. They made thousands of retarded Americans believe it was a robbery. The rest of the world saw a close fight. Dont really see for this fight, i mean they called Linares punches when he was throwing his flurries even though i think most hit Loma's arms so you gotta give specific moments of this in this fight.

I had to mute my TV honestly. It was like I was watching a Loma highlight reel. They rarely have credit to Linares for his work.

Ever since they took Teddy off the announce team, the bias has been through the roof and then some. And agreed a million percent on Kriegal, he's good for pre-fight stories, but completely pathetic in the broadcast booth. Exactly. Kreigel is a good addition at ESPN for the story telling, but the guy is not a commentator Tessitor, Bradley, and Kreigel is an awful crew

He was never like that on Friday Night Fights but yeah he is BEYOND BIAS to the point that they didn't even Acknowledge some of the work that Linares was doing He might be worse than Jim Lampley and that is saying A LOT!

you probably think ward-kovaelv 1 could have gone either way. i watched it withot commentary. the clean punches and the hurtful shots(especially body) were largely dominated by loma. thats not a fight that can go either way. an underdog doing better than expected doesn not mean it can go either way Yeah I do, two of the refs agreed with me and punch stats favoured Linares. Either way Loma won by stoppage and deserves credit for that.

I usually blast music during fights. Should've done that tonight. Listening to Tessitore was nauseating. Loma lands a jab then he goes " what a jab by Loma! we haven't seen a jab that crisp since the 1920's am I right guys." FOH Loma is P4P top three. This thread isn't about him. It's about a commentator shamelessly deep throating one fighter when his job is to call the fight. The only other fight I can compare it to is Pacquiao/Bradley 1 when HBO gave Timmy zero credit for anything he did and had orgasms whenever Manny threw a punch. I agree completely. I always felt Joe would be immune from falling into the trap of dick riding but tonight, he was absolutely disgusting. Just a shameful charade of audio ruining a tremendous fight. I thought HBO are bad with their bias but Jos Tessitore took it to another level tonight

i watched the fight on mute. linares was rarely landing clean flush punches. lomachenko was constantly. i was watching closely and the punches were flying by loma, hitting his gloves and shoulders. just pay more attention next time and you might get it. tessitore is a god damn legend!!!

It's weird with Lomachenko and I don't quite get it at all, it's not even so much the commentators but the crowd seems to be amused at the way Lomachenko makes his opponent reset even when he doesn't land anything. I don't get it, sometimes I think I'm stuck in the matrix because I've seen elite fighters do this often. Even Bradley started it all by saying Lomachenko was the most complete fighter he's ever seen, I mean......lord help me.

Arguably the worst commentary team I've ever heard. Just terrible. Tim Bradley is ok, but Tessitore and Kriegal are awful with their bias for the house fighter. People say just mute the sound, but you wanna hear the shots land and the crowd react. This was a really good fight, but listening to Joe and Kriegal, you would think it was all one-way traffic.
