I think Garcia drops Porter while coming in and wins a decision. Danny I think acclimated to the weight after a year of moving up. Porter fights ugly and smothers his own attack. He'll be coming in on Danny instead of boxing, which will give Garcia chances to catch him.
Danny is a mid range hooker, for real. Porter had a tendency to stay inside or closer than that mid range area, too bad he smots himself too much. But I believe If Danny boxers and clinches, he can point Porter. Or he gets outworked!
I think its gonna be kinda close. I think Danny gots more tools to win so I'm leaning his way.
Porter is always on that too close, smothering his own best work, too often ineffective aggression sh^t. If they could keep Porter a half step or so back from where he ends up during exchanges he might be undefeated, but he's no defensive wizard & f#cks up his own offensive outside of his opponent making his offensive less effective. Amazing work rate, but doesn't have a high conversion rate on that high work rate cuz mfer is a close talker kinda fighter or some such bs.
Talking about Danny's tools, I think what sucks for Garcia is he does fight flat footed and that's what doesn't make him a complete fighter.
What gave Thurman the edge is his in and out movements versus Danny.
His slow, incomplete footwork won't help him versus Porter who moves in and out too.
Garcia shares that bad habit with Nelo. They roll and counter but forgot to escape and bait, set traps, feint with the legs.
Complete defensive fighters like a prime Floyd or Pernell rolled with the punches but also used their legs.
I want DSG to win but porter has the style to make this an upsetI agree that Porter wins but it's only an upset if Garcia is a big favorite to win. I don't know the betting odds but I think the odds would be close to even.
:lol1: @ Porter clowning Garcia by wearing a Burger King crown and shades with a missing lense. I guess if you want to call someone out, that is one way to do it.
I think Danny is better but I think Porter wins. Danny thinks he's a better boxer than he actually is imo so he gets lazy thinking he's just so damned untouchable. Swift just gets outworked I think.
Thurman had a real rough time keeping Porter off, why would Danny do a better job when he's:
a) A weaker welterweight
and
b) A slightly inferior boxer
Porter would swarm and beat Danny on the cards, in my opinion. I have no doubt about it.
50/50 fight. Who ever imposes their style will win. Garcia best bet is to do a Brook on him. Counter and hold. Porter's head gives you too much to worry about
If Porter approaches the fight in his usual semi-wild fashion, Garcia counters him with that signature left hook or recently-seen surprise right cross and drops him. Swift decisions Porter.
Garcia is a better fighter. I think Porter will look frustrated at times like he did against Brook but I still think Porter pulls out a close decision.
Porter too busy and aggressive for Garcia's comfort. Porter wins a decision in a sloppy fight and the Garcia's are pissed afterward as usual.
😂😂This is exactly how I think it goes down
Close fight I think, similar to Thurman-Porter.
My instinct is Danny by close but clear decision. I think he'll take snippets from the Thurman performance, and parts from the Brook performance and do enough. We saw Danny isn't afraid to tie up, turn, and reset like he did against Matthysse. Porter will definitely make him fight more at times, but I expect Danny to eek it out, although I'd love to see Porter pull it off. Angel Garcia is a despicable human.

You might be right. Porter will try to manhandle Garcia. I still think Garcia's a bit more crafty and his precision will catch Porter.
I think Shawn’s too busy for him, Danny’s best chance is to catch him and knock him out but due to lack of activity he loses almost every round against porter.
